to turn aside the needy from judgment and to take away the right from the poor of My people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
to turn aside the needy from justice, and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey!
So as to deprive the needy of justice And rob the poor of My people of rightful claims, So that widows may be their spoil And that they may plunder the fatherless.
To turn aside the needy from justice and to make plunder of the rightful claims of the poor of My people, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey!
To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
to keep the poor from getting a fair trial and to deprive the needy among my people of justice, so that widows can be their spoil and they can plunder the fatherless.
to deprive the needy of their rights and to rob the poor among my people of justice; to make widows their loot; to steal from orphans!
to deprive the impoverished of justice and rob my people’s poor of their rights, looting widows and preying on orphans!
that let you cheat the poor and needy and rob widows and orphans.
to turn away the poor from judgment, and to take away the right from the afflicted of my people; that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
To oppress the poor in judgment, and do violence to the cause of the humble of my people: that widows might be their prey, and that they might rob the fatherless.
They are not fair to the poor. They take away the rights of the poor and allow people to steal from widows and orphans.
They stop poor people from receiving what they should have. They do not let helpless people receive justice. They rob widows of all their things. They take things that belong to children who have no family.
to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor among my people of their rights, to plunder widows, and to make the fatherless their prey!
to turn aside the needy from justice and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey!

They ·are not fair [withold justice] to the poor [Ex. 23:6, 11; Deut. 15:4–11], and they ·rob [deprive] my people of their rights. They ·allow people to steal from widows [L make widows their plunder/prey; Ex. 22:22] and ·to take from orphans what really belongs to them [L plunder/loot the fatherless; Deut. 10:18].
To keep back the poor from judgment, and to take away the judgment of the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may spoil the fatherless.
They deprive the poor of justice. They take away the rights of the needy among my people. They prey on widows and rob orphans.
That is how you keep the poor from having their rights and from getting justice. That is how you take the property that belongs to widows and orphans.
to keep the poor from getting a fair trial and to deprive the afflicted among my people of justice, so that widows can be their spoil and they can plunder the fatherless.

to turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
So as to turn the poor away from their cause And rob the afflicted of My people of their justice, So that widows may be their spoil And that they may plunder the orphans.
to guide the needy away from legal claims, and to rob the justice from the poor of my people, to make widows their spoil; and they plunder orphans.
so that there is no justice for the poor, the widows, and orphans. Yes, it is true that they even rob the widows and fatherless children.
Doom to you who legislate evil, who make laws that make victims— Laws that make misery for the poor, that rob my destitute people of dignity, Exploiting defenseless widows, taking advantage of homeless children. What will you have to say on Judgment Day, when Doomsday arrives out of the blue? Who will you get to help you? What good will your money do you? A sorry sight you’ll be then, huddled with the prisoners, or just some corpses stacked in the street. Even after all this, God is still angry, his fist still raised, ready to hit them again.
to turn aside the needy from justice and to take away the right from the poor of My people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
They deprive the poor of justice. They take away the rights of the needy among my people. They prey on widows and rob orphans.
Depriving the needy of judgment, robbing my people’s poor of justice, Making widows their plunder, and orphans their prey!
So as to deprive the needy of justice And rob the poor among My people of their rights, So that widows may be their spoil And that they may plunder the orphans.
So as to deprive the needy of justice And rob the poor of My people of their rights, So that widows may be their spoil And that they may plunder the orphans.
thereby depriving the needy of justice, and making it impossible for the poorest of my people to have their rights upheld, as they plunder the widow and make the orphans their prey.

to keep the poor from getting fair treatment, and to deprive the oppressed among my people of justice, so they can steal what widows own, and loot what belongs to orphans.
You take away the rights of poor people. You hold back what is fair from my people who are suffering. You take for yourselves what belongs to widows. You rob children whose fathers have died.
to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless.

to deprive the helpless of justice and rob the rights of the poor of My people, so that widows may be their spoil and orphans their prey!
How awful it will be for those who mandate wickedness and legalize oppression, denying justice to the needy, Taking away the rights of the poor among My people. Such leaders intend to make helpless widows and orphans their prey.
to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor among my people of their rights, that widows may be their plunder, and that they may make the fatherless their prey!
for to oppress poor men in doom, and to do violence to the cause of meek men of my people; that widows shall be the prey of them, and that they should ravish fatherless children. (and so they oppress the poor in judgement, and do violence to the cause of the humble among my people; and widows shall become their prey, and they shall rob fatherless children.)
To turn aside from judgment the poor, And to take violently away the judgment Of the afflicted of My people, That widows may be their prey, That the fatherless they may spoil.
