How will you avoid crouching among the prisoners and falling among the slain? Even so, God’s anger hasn’t turned away; God’s hand is still extended.
so as not to squat among the prisoners or fall among the slain? Even after all this, his anger remains, his upraised hand still threatens.
How will you escape being captured or killed? The Lord is still angry, and he isn't through with you yet!
They can but crouch under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still.
That you be not bowed down under the bond, and fall with the slain? In all these things his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
You will have to bow down like a prisoner. You will fall down like a dead man, but that will not help you. God will still be angry and ready to punish you.
You will have to join the people who are in prison. Or you will die with those that the enemy kills in war. But the Lord is still angry. His hand is ready to hit his people again.
The only thing left for you will be to kneel among the prisoners and to fall under the dead bodies. Yet for all this, his anger is not turned away, and his hand is still stretched out, ready to strike.

Doom to you who legislate evil, who make laws that make victims— Laws that make misery for the poor, that rob my destitute people of dignity, Exploiting defenseless widows, taking advantage of homeless children. What will you have to say on Judgment Day, when Doomsday arrives out of the blue? Who will you get to help you? What good will your money do you? A sorry sight you’ll be then, huddled with the prisoners, or just some corpses stacked in the street. Even after all this, God is still angry, his fist still raised, ready to hit them again.
