Isaiah 1:12
When you come to appear before Me, who hath required this from your hand, to tread My courts?
When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to trample my courts?
“When you come to appear before Me, Who requires this of you, this trampling of My [temple] courts [by your sinful feet]?
When you come to appear before Me, who requires of you that your [unholy feet] trample My courts?
When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
When you come to appear before me, who requires this from you— this trampling of my courts?
When you come to appear before me, who asked this from you, this trampling of my temple’s courts?
Yes, you come to appear in my presence; but who asked you to do this, to trample through my courtyards?
“Who asked you to bring all this when you come to worship me? Stay out of my temple!
When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this from your hand—to tread my courts?
When you came to appear before me, who required these things at your hands, that you should walk in my courts?
When you people come to meet with me, you trample everything in my yard. Who told you to do this?
You come to worship me in my temple. But are you doing what I want? Did I ask you to march round the temple yards with all your animals?
When you come to appear before me, who has asked for this from your hands: this trampling on my courts?
“When you come to appear before me, who has required of you this trampling of my courts?
“When you come to appear before me, who has required of you this trampling of my courts?
You ·come to meet with [appear before; worship] me, but who asked you to do all this ·running in and out of [trampling/parading through] my ·Temple’s rooms [courts; courtyards]?
When ye come to appear before me, who required this of your hands to tread in my courts?
When you appear in my presence, who asked you to trample on my courtyards?
Who asked you to bring me all this when you come to worship me? Who asked you to do all this tramping around in my Temple?
When you come to appear before Me, who requires this from you— this trampling of My courts?
You come to meet with me. But who asked you to do all this running in and out?
“When you come to present yourselves in my presence, who has required you to trample on my courts?
When ye come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
When you come to appear before Me, Who requires of you this trampling of My courts?
When you come to appear before me, who asked for this from your hand: you trampling my courts?
Who wants your sacrifices when you have no sorrow for your sins? The incense you bring me is a stench in my nostrils. Your holy celebrations of the new moon and the Sabbath, and your special days for fasting—even your most pious meetings—all are frauds! I want nothing more to do with them.
“Why this frenzy of sacrifices?” God’s asking. “Don’t you think I’ve had my fill of burnt sacrifices, rams and plump grain-fed calves? Don’t you think I’ve had my fill of blood from bulls, lambs, and goats? When you come before me, whoever gave you the idea of acting like this, Running here and there, doing this and that— all this sheer commotion in the place provided for worship?
When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to trample My courts?
When you appear in my presence, who asked you to trample on my courtyards?
When you come to appear before me, who asks these things of you?
When you come to appear before Me, Who requires of you this trampling of My courtyards?
“When you come to appear before Me, Who requires of you this trampling of My courts?
When you come into my presence, who has asked you to present such offerings? Never again trample my courts!
You come to meet with me, but who asked you to do all this running in and out of my Temple’s rooms?
When you enter my presence, do you actually think I want this— animals trampling on my courtyards?
Who asked you to bring all these animals when you come to worship me? Who asked you and your animals to walk all over my courtyards?
When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts?
When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts?
“When you come to appear before Me, Who has required this from your hand, To trample My courts?
When you come to show yourselves before Me, who says you must walk and walk around My open spaces?
When you come to worship me, who asked you to parade through my courts with all your ceremony?
When you come to appear before me, who asked this from your hand? Trample my courts no more;
When you come to appear before me, who asked this from your hand? Trample my courts no more;
When you come to appear before me, who asked this from your hand? Trample my courts no more;
When you come to appear before me, who asked this from your hand? Trample my courts no more!
When ye come to appear before Me, who hath required this at your hand, to trample khatzerai (My courts)?
“When you come to appear before me, who requires of you this trampling of my courts?
“When you come to appear before me, who requires of you this trampling of my courts?
When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand— trampling My courts?
When you come into My presence, who told you to trample down the courtyard of My temple bringing all of this?
When you come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to trample my courts?
When ye came before my sight, who asked of your hands these things, that ye should go in my foreyards? (When ye came before me, who asked for any of these things from your hands, so that ye could walk in my courtyards?)
