Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it. It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

That day is awful, beyond words. A time of unspeakable pain for my people Jacob. But they will be delivered from it.
How dreadful that day will be! — there has never been one like it: a time of trouble for Ya‘akov, but out of it he will be saved.
My people, soon you will suffer worse than ever before, but I will save you.
Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
Alas, for that day is great, neither is there the like to it; and it is the time of tribulation to Jacob, but he shall be saved out of it.
“This is a very important time for Jacob. This is a time of great trouble. There will never be another time like this, but Jacob will be saved.
It will be a time of terrible trouble, worse than anything that has happened before. It will be a time of great trouble for Jacob's descendants. But I will rescue them from their trouble.’
That day is so terrible that there is none like it! It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it.
Alas! That day is so great there is none like it; it is a time of distress for Jacob; yet he shall be saved out of it.

Alas, in all history when has there ever been a time of terror such as in that coming day? It is a time of trouble for my people—for Jacob—such as they have never known before. Yet God will rescue them!
“God’s Message: “‘Cries of panic are being heard. The peace has been shattered. Ask around! Look around! Can men bear babies? So why do I see all these he-men holding their bellies like women in labor, Faces contorted, pale as death? The blackest of days, no day like it ever! A time of deep trouble for Jacob— but he’ll come out of it alive.
Alas! for that day is great, so that no one is like it; it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
How terrible that day will be! There will be no other day like it. It will be a time of calamity for the descendants of Jacob, but they will be rescued from it.
Ah! How mighty is that day— there is none like it! A time of distress for Jacob, though he shall be saved from it.

How frightening that day will be! There will be none like it. It will be a time of anguish for Jacob, although he will be saved from it.
This will be a terrible day! There will never be another time like this. This is a time of great trouble for the people of Jacob, but they will be saved from it.”
Alas, what a terrible time of trouble it is! There has never been any like it. It is a time of trouble for the descendants of Jacob, but some of them will be rescued out of it.
How awful that day will be! No other day will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for the people of Jacob. But they will be saved out of it.

I will tell you why: for that great and awesome day is like no other. It will be a time of suffering for Jacob’s descendants; still they will be rescued from it.
