Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
Again shalt thou plant vineyards upon the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant, and shall enjoy the fruit thereof.
“Again you will plant vineyards On the mountains of Samaria; The planters will plant And enjoy the [abundant] fruit [in peace].
Again you shall plant vineyards upon the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant and make the fruit common and enjoy it [undisturbed].
Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
You will plant vineyards again on the mountains of Samaria; the planters will plant and will enjoy the fruit.
Again, you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; farmers will plant and then enjoy the harvests.
For a day will come when the watchmen on Mount Efrayim will call, ‘Come, let’s go up to Tziyon, to Adonai our God.’”
You will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria and enjoy the grapes.

You farmers of Israel will plant vineyards again. You will plant the vineyards on the hills around the city of Samaria. The farmers will enjoy the fruit from the vineyards.
You will again plant vines on the hills in Samaria. Yes, farmers will plant vines and they will eat their fruit.
Again you will plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria. The planters will plant and will enjoy its fruit.

You will plant vineyards again on the hills around Samaria [C in northern Israel]. The ·farmers [L planters] will plant them and enjoy their fruit.

This is the way God put it: “They found grace out in the desert, these people who survived the killing. Israel, out looking for a place to rest, met God out looking for them!” God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love! And so now I’ll start over with you and build you up again, dear virgin Israel. You’ll resume your singing, grabbing tambourines and joining the dance. You’ll go back to your old work of planting vineyards on the Samaritan hillsides, And sit back and enjoy the fruit— oh, how you’ll enjoy those harvests! The time’s coming when watchmen will call out from the hilltops of Ephraim: ‘On your feet! Let’s go to Zion, go to meet our God!’” * * *

Yet thou shalt plant vines in the hills of Samaria; men planting shall plant, and till the time come, they shall not gather grapes (and when the time come, they shall gather the grapes).
