Job 11:2

“Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be justified?
Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be justified?
“Shall a multitude of words not be answered? And should a talkative man [making such a long-winded defense] be acquitted?
Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk [and making such great professions] be pronounced free from guilt or blame?
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
Should this abundance of words go unanswered and such a talker be acquitted?
Should all these words go unanswered or a wordy man be justified?
“Shouldn’t this torrent of words be answered? Does talking a lot make a person right?
So much foolish talk cannot go unanswered.
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man of much talk be justified?
Shall not he that speaketh much, hear also? or shall a man full of talk be justified?
“This flood of words should be answered! Does all this talking make Job right?
‘Someone must answer all these words that you have spoken. You have talked a lot, but that does not mean that you are right.
Doesn’t this gush of words call for an answer? Can this man’s bold talk be justified?
“Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and a man full of talk be judged right?
“Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and a man full of talk be judged right?
“Should ·these [L such a large number of] words go unanswered? ·Is this talker in the right [or Should a talkative man be declared righteous]?
Should not the multitude of words be answered? or should a great talker be justified?
“Shouldn’t someone answer this flood of words? Should a good public speaker be acquitted?
Will no one answer all this nonsense? Does talking so much put you in the right?
Should this stream of words go unanswered and such a talker be acquitted?
“All these words should not go without an answer. Is this talker to be judged as right?
“Shouldn’t a multitude of words be answered, or a person who talks too much be vindicated?
Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be justified?
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
“Shall a multitude of words go unanswered, And a man of lips be in the right?
“Should an abundance of words go unanswered, or a man full of talk be vindicated?
“Shouldn’t someone stem this torrent of words? Is a man proved right by all this talk?
Now it was the turn of Zophar from Naamath: “What a flood of words! Shouldn’t we put a stop to it? Should this kind of loose talk be permitted? Job, do you think you can carry on like this and we’ll say nothing? That we’ll let you rail and mock and not step in? You claim, ‘My doctrine is sound and my conduct impeccable.’ How I wish God would give you a piece of his mind, tell you what’s what! I wish he’d show you how wisdom looks from the inside, for true wisdom is mostly ‘inside.’ But you can be sure of this, you haven’t gotten half of what you deserve.
“Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be justified?
“Shouldn’t someone answer this flood of words? Should a good public speaker be acquitted?
Should not many words be answered, or must the garrulous man necessarily be right?
“Shall a multitude of words go unanswered, And a talkative man be acquitted?
“Shall a multitude of words go unanswered, And a talkative man be acquitted?
“Should we allow this torrent of words to go unanswered? Is a clever speaker always to be considered right?
“Should these words go unanswered? Is this talker in the right?
“Should not this abundance of words be answered, or should this talkative man be vindicated?
“Don’t all your words require an answer? I’m sure that what you are saying can’t be right.
“Are all these words to go unanswered? Is this talker to be vindicated?
‘Are all these words to go unanswered? Is this talker to be vindicated?
“Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be vindicated?
“Should many words go without an answer? Should a man full of talk be said to be without blame?
“Shouldn’t someone answer this torrent of words? Is a person proved innocent just by a lot of talking?
‘Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and should one full of talk be vindicated?
‘Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and should one full of talk be vindicated?
“Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and should one full of talk be vindicated?
“Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and should one full of talk be vindicated?
Should not the multitude of dvarim be answered? And should an ish full of talk yitzdak (be justified)?
“Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and a man full of talk be vindicated?
“Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and a man full of talk be vindicated?
“Should so many words go unanswered? Is a man justified by his lips?
Zophar: Shall such a great volume of words remain unanswered and a long-winded man be so easily acquitted?
“Shouldn’t the multitude of words be answered? Should a man full of talk be justified?
Whether he, that speaketh many things, shall not also hear? either a man full of words shall be made just? (Shall he, who saith many things, not also listen? or is a man so full of words always right, or correct?)
Is a multitude of words not answered? And is a man of lips justified?
