“Behold, I am vile. What shall I answer Thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay my hand upon my mouth.
“Behold, I am of little importance and contemptible; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth.
Behold, I am of small account and vile! What shall I answer You? I lay my hand upon my mouth.
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
I am so insignificant. How can I answer you? I place my hand over my mouth.
Look, I’m of little worth. What can I answer you? I’ll put my hand over my mouth.
“I am too ashamed; I have nothing to say. I lay my hand over my mouth.
Who am I to answer you?
Behold, I am nought: what shall I answer thee? I will lay my hand upon my mouth.
And hast thou an arm like God, and canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
“I am not worthy to speak! What can I say to you? I cannot answer you! I will put my hand over my mouth.
‘I am only a foolish man. I cannot answer your questions. I cover my mouth with my hand so that I say nothing.
No, I am insignificant. How could I reply to you? I will put my hand over my mouth.
“Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
“Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
“I am ·not worthy [small]; I cannot answer you anything, so I will put my hand over my mouth [C to indicate no more talking].
Or hast thou an arm like God? or dost thou thunder with a voice like him?
“I’m so insignificant. How can I answer you? I will put my hand over my mouth.
I spoke foolishly, Lord. What can I answer? I will not try to say anything else.
I am so insignificant. How can I answer You? I place my hand over my mouth.
“I am not worthy. I cannot answer you anything. I will put my hand over my mouth.
“I must look insignificant to you! How can I answer you? I’m speechless.
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay my hand over my mouth.
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
“Behold, I am insignificant; what can I respond to You? I place my hand over my mouth.
“Look, I am insignificant. What shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
“I am nothing—how could I ever find the answers? I lay my hand upon my mouth in silence.
Job answered: “I’m speechless, in awe—words fail me. I should never have opened my mouth! I’ve talked too much, way too much. I’m ready to shut up and listen.”
“Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer You? I will lay my hand over my mouth.
“I’m so insignificant. How can I answer you? I will put my hand over my mouth.
Look, I am of little account; what can I answer you? I put my hand over my mouth.
“Behold, I am insignificant; what can I say in response to You? I put my hand on my mouth.
“Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth.
“Since I am of little importance, how can I reply to you? I will simply place my hand over my mouth.
“I am not worthy; I cannot answer you anything, so I will put my hand over my mouth.
“Indeed, I am completely unworthy—how could I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth to silence myself.
“I’m not worthy. How can I reply to you? I’m putting my hand over my mouth. I’ll stop talking.
“I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.
‘I am unworthy – how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.
“Behold, I am vile; What shall I answer You? I lay my hand over my mouth.
“See, I am not important. What can I answer You? I put my hand on my mouth.
“I am nothing—how could I ever find the answers? I will cover my mouth with my hand.
‘See, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
‘See, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
“See, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
“See, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
See, I am vile; what shall I answer Thee? I will lay mine yad upon my mouth.
“Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay my hand on my mouth.
“Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay my hand on my mouth.
“Indeed, I am unworthy—what can I reply to You? I put my hand over my mouth.
Job: Oh, I am so small. How can I reply to You? I’ll cover my mouth with my hand, for I’ve already said too much.
“Behold, I am of small account. What will I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.
What may I answer, which have spoken lightly, that is, undiscreetly and follily? (What can I answer to thee, I who have spoken so freely, that is, so indiscreetly, and so foolishly?) I shall put mine hand upon my mouth.
Lo, I have been vile, What do I return to Thee? My hand I have placed on my mouth.
