Will ye accept His person; will ye contend for God?
Will ye show partiality to him? Will ye contend for God?
“Will you show partiality for Him [and be unjust to me so that you may gain favor with Him]? Will you contend and plead for God?
Will you show partiality to Him [be unjust to me in order to gain favor with Him]? Will you act as special pleaders for God?
Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
Would you show partiality to him or argue the case in his defense?
Will you be partial or contend for God?
Do you need to take his side and plead God’s case for him?
and not telling the whole truth when you argue his case?
Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
Do you accept his person, and do you endeavour to judge for God?
Are you trying to defend God against me? You are not being fair. You are choosing God’s side simply because he is God.
You are trying to win the argument for God. But you are not being honest when you do that.
Will you show favoritism on behalf of God and argue his case for him?
Will you show partiality toward him? Will you plead the case for God?
Will you show partiality towards him? Will you plead the case for God?

Are ye to bring honour unto him? Are ye to contend for God?

Does God want your help if you are going to twist the truth for him?
“Listen now while I make my case, consider my side of things for a change. Or are you going to keep on lying ‘to do God a service’? to make up stories ‘to get him off the hook’? Why do you always take his side? Do you think he needs a lawyer to defend himself? How would you fare if you were in the witness stand? Your lies might convince a jury—but would they convince God? He’d reprimand you on the spot if he detected a bias in your witness. Doesn’t his splendor put you in awe? Aren’t you afraid to speak cheap lies before him? Your wise sayings are knickknack wisdom, good for nothing but gathering dust.
Will you take His side? Will you plead for God?
Will you favor him as if you were arguing in court on El’s behalf?
Is it for him that you show partiality? Do you make accusations on behalf of God?
Will you show partiality for Him? Will you contend for God?
