Job 16:5

But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should assuage your grief.
But I would strengthen you with my mouth, And the solace of my lips would assuage your grief.
“[But instead] I could strengthen and encourage you with [the words of] my mouth, And the consolation and solace of my lips would soothe your suffering and lessen your anguish.
[But] I would strengthen and encourage you with [the words of] my mouth, and the consolation of my lips would soothe your suffering.
But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.
Instead, I would encourage you with my mouth, and the consolation from my lips would bring relief.
I could heap up words, strengthen you with my speech; my trembling lips would be held in check.
I could ‘strengthen’ you with my mouth, with lip service I could ‘ease your grief.’
But I would offer hope and comfort instead.
[But] I would encourage you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips should assuage [your pain].
I would comfort you also with words, and would wag my head over you.
But I would say things to encourage you and give you hope.
But, instead, I would help you to be strong. I would say things to comfort you.
But instead, I would build you up with the words from my mouth, and comforting words from my lips would ease your pain.
I could strengthen you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would assuage your pain.
I could strengthen you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would assuage your pain.
But, instead, I would ·encourage you [L strengthen you with my mouth], and ·my words [L the words of my lips] would bring you ·relief [comfort].
But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the comfort of my lips should assuage your sorrow.
I could encourage you with my mouth, and my quivering lips could ease ⌞your pain⌟.
I could strengthen you with advice and keep talking to comfort you.
Instead, I would encourage you with my mouth, and the consolation from my lips would bring relief.
But, instead, my words would encourage you. I would speak words of comfort to bring you relief.
and encourage you with what I have to say; my words of comfort would lessen your pain.
But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the consolation of my lips would assuage the pain.
But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.
But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.
I could encourage you with my mouth, And the solace of my lips could lessen your pain.
I could encourage you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would ease the pain.
But no! I would speak in such a way that it would help you. I would try to take away your grief.
Then Job defended himself: “I’ve had all I can take of your talk. What a bunch of miserable comforters! Is there no end to your windbag speeches? What’s your problem that you go on and on like this? If you were in my shoes, I could talk just like you. I could put together a terrific tirade and really let you have it. But I’d never do that. I’d console and comfort, make things better, not worse!
but I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips would relieve your grief.
I could encourage you with my mouth, and my quivering lips could ease your pain.
I could strengthen you with talk, with mere chatter give relief.
Or I could strengthen you with my mouth, And the condolence of my lips could lessen your pain.
“I could strengthen you with my mouth, And the solace of my lips could lessen your pain.
But I would offer words of encouragement, and comfort from my lips would alleviate your pain.
But, instead, I would encourage you, and my words would bring you relief.
But I would strengthen you with my words; comfort from my lips would bring you relief.
But what I might say would give you hope. My words of comfort would help you.
But my mouth would encourage you; comfort from my lips would bring you relief.
But my mouth would encourage you; comfort from my lips would bring you relief.
But I would strengthen you with my mouth, And the comfort of my lips would relieve your grief.
I could give you strength with my mouth. I could speak words of comfort and make your pain less.
But if it were me, I would encourage you. I would try to take away your grief.
I could encourage you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would assuage your pain.
I could encourage you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would assuage your pain.
I could encourage you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would assuage your pain.
I could encourage you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would assuage your pain.
But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my shfatayim (lips) should relieve your grief.
I could strengthen you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would assuage your pain.
I could strengthen you with my mouth, and the solace of my lips would assuage your pain.
But I would strengthen you with my mouth and comfort from my lips would bring you relief.
But I believe I would use my words to encourage you; my lips would move only to offer you relief.
but I would strengthen you with my mouth. The solace of my lips would relieve you.
I would (rather) make you strong by my mouth, and I would move my lips as sparing you. (But I would rather make you strong with my mouth, yea, with encouraging words, and I would rather move my lips to say things to comfort you.)
I might harden you with my mouth, And the moving of my lips might be sparing.
