Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withheld bread from the hungry.

denied water to the thirsty, withheld bread from the starving.
you didn’t give water to the weary to drink, you withheld food from the hungry.
And you refused bread and water to the hungry and thirsty,
Thou hast not given water to the fainting to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.
Thou hast not given water to the weary, thou hast withdrawn bread from the hungry.
Maybe you failed to give water or food to people who were tired or hungry.
When you met people who were weak and tired, you did not give them any water to drink. You refused to feed hungry people.
You have not given water to the weary, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.
You have given no water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.
You have given no water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.
You did not give water to ·tired [weary] people, and you kept food from the ·hungry [famished; starving].
To such as were weary, thou hast not given water to drink, and hast withdrawn bread from the hungry.
You don’t even give a tired person a drink of water, and you take food away from hungry people.
You refused water to those who were tired, and refused to feed those who were hungry.
You gave no water to the thirsty and withheld food from the famished,
You did not give water to tired people. And you kept food away from the hungry.
You’ve neglected to give water to the weary, and you’ve withheld food from the hungry.
Thou didst not give water to drink to the weary, and thou hast withheld bread from the hungry.
Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.
Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.
To the weary you have given no water to drink, And from the hungry you have withheld bread.
You have given no water for the weary to drink, and you withheld food from the hungry.
You must have refused water to the thirsty and bread to the starving.
Once again Eliphaz the Temanite took up his theme: “Are any of us strong enough to give God a hand, or smart enough to give him advice? So what if you were righteous—would God Almighty even notice? Even if you gave a perfect performance, do you think he’d applaud? Do you think it’s because he cares about your purity that he’s disciplining you, putting you on the spot? Hardly! It’s because you’re a first-class moral failure, because there’s no end to your sins. When people came to you for help, you took the shirts off their backs, exploited their helplessness. You wouldn’t so much as give a drink to the thirsty, or food, not even a scrap, to the hungry. And there you sat, strong and honored by everyone, surrounded by immense wealth! You turned poor widows away from your door; heartless, you crushed orphans. Now you’re the one trapped in terror, paralyzed by fear. Suddenly the tables have turned! How do you like living in the dark, sightless, up to your neck in flood waters?
You have not given water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.
You don’t even give a tired person a drink of water, and you take food away from hungry people.
To the thirsty you give no water to drink, and from the hungry you withhold bread;
You have given the weary no water to drink, And you have withheld bread from the hungry.
“To the weary you have given no water to drink, And from the hungry you have withheld bread.
To the thirsty you offered no water to drink, and you withheld bread from those who were starving.
You did not give water to tired people, and you kept food from the hungry.
You gave the weary no water to drink and from the hungry you withheld food.
You didn’t give any water to people who were tired. You held food back from those who were hungry.
You gave no water to the weary and you withheld food from the hungry,
You gave no water to the weary and you withheld food from the hungry,
You have not given the weary water to drink, And you have withheld bread from the hungry.
To those who were tired, you have given no water to drink. And you have kept bread from the hungry.
You must have refused water for the thirsty and food for the hungry.

You have never given so much as a cup of water to the thirsty or a crumb to the hungry.

Thou gavest not water to the faint man; and thou withdrewest bread from the hungry man. (Thou gavest no water to the faint; and thou withheldest bread from the hungry.)
Thou causest not the weary to drink water, And from the hungry thou withholdest bread.
