Job 14:7

For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
For there is hope of a tree, If it be cut down, that it will sprout again, And that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that the shoots of it will not cease nor fail, [but there is no such hope for man].
For there is hope for a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again and that the tender shoots of it will not cease. [But there is no such hope for man.]
For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
There is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its shoots will not die.
Indeed there is hope for a tree. If it’s cut down and still sprouting and its shoots don’t fail,
“For a tree, there is hope that if cut down, it will sprout again, that its shoots will continue to grow.
When a tree is chopped down, there is always the hope that it will sprout again.
For there is hope for a tree: if it be cut down, it will sprout again, and its tender branch will not cease;
A tree hath hope: if it be cut, it groweth green again, and the boughs thereof sprout.
“There is always hope for a tree. If it is cut down, it can grow again. It will keep sending out new branches.
If someone cuts down a tree, the tree may not die. New branches may grow from it.
There is still hope for a tree if it is cut down. It may grow up again and produce new shoots.
“For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease.
“If a tree is cut down, there is hope that it will grow again and will send out new ·branches [shoots].
For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will yet sprout, and the branches thereof will not cease.
There is hope for a tree when it is cut down. It will sprout again. Its shoots will not stop sprouting.
There is hope for a tree that has been cut down; it can come back to life and sprout.
There is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its shoots will not die.
“There is hope for a tree. If you cut it down, it will grow again. It will keep sending out new branches.
“There is hope for the tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots won’t stop growing.
¶ For there is yet hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again and that its tender branch will not cease.
For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, When it is cut down, that it will change back sprouting again, And its shoots will not cease.
“Indeed, there is hope for a tree: if it is cut down, then it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not cease;
“For there is hope for a tree—if it’s cut down, it sprouts again and grows tender, new branches.
“We’re all adrift in the same boat: too few days, too many troubles. We spring up like wildflowers in the desert and then wilt, transient as the shadow of a cloud. Do you occupy your time with such fragile wisps? Why even bother hauling me into court? There’s nothing much to us to start with; how do you expect us to amount to anything? Mortals have a limited life span. You’ve already decided how long we’ll live— you set the boundary and no one can cross it. So why not give us a break? Ease up! Even ditchdiggers get occasional days off. For a tree there is always hope. Chop it down and it still has a chance— its roots can put out fresh sprouts. Even if its roots are old and gnarled, its stump long dormant, At the first whiff of water it comes to life, buds and grows like a sapling. But men and women? They die and stay dead. They breathe their last, and that’s it. Like lakes and rivers that have dried up, parched reminders of what once was, So mortals lie down and never get up, never wake up again—never. Why don’t you just bury me alive, get me out of the way until your anger cools? But don’t leave me there! Set a date when you’ll see me again. If we humans die, will we live again? That’s my question. All through these difficult days I keep hoping, waiting for the final change—for resurrection! Homesick with longing for the creature you made, you’ll call—and I’ll answer! You’ll watch over every step I take, but you won’t keep track of my missteps. My sins will be stuffed in a sack and thrown into the sea—sunk in deep ocean.
“For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its tender shoots will not cease.
There is hope for a tree when it is cut down. It will sprout again. Its shoots will not stop sprouting.
For a tree there is hope; if it is cut down, it will sprout again, its tender shoots will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, When it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And its shoots will not fail.
“For there is hope for a tree, When it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And its shoots will not fail.
“At least for a tree there is always hope: if it is cut down, it may sprout once again, and its new shoots may burst with life.
“If a tree is cut down, there is hope that it will grow again and will send out new branches.
“But there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail.
“At least there is hope for a tree. If it’s cut down, it will begin to grow again. New branches will appear on it.
“At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail.
‘At least there is hope for a tree: if it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail.
“For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, when it is cut down, that it will grow again, and that its branches will not stop growing.
“Even a tree has more hope! If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches.
‘For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease.
‘For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, that it will sprout again and that its shoots will not cease.
For there is tikveh of an etz, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease.
“For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease.
“At least there is hope for a tree— if it is cut down it will sprout again, and its shoots will not cease.
You know, at least there is a kind of hope for a tree: if it gets cut down, it may yet sprout again out of the roots. And very likely then, its tender shoots will not die.
“For there is hope for a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, that the tender branch of it will not cease.
A tree hath hope, if it is cut down; and again it waxeth green, and his branches spread forth. (A tree hath hope, that if it is cut down, it shall grow green again, and its branches shall spread forth.)
For there is of a tree hope, if it be cut down, That again it doth change, That its tender branch doth not cease.
