Job 31:33
If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom,
If like Adam I have covered my transgressions, By hiding mine iniquity in my bosom,
“Have I concealed my transgressions like Adam or like other men, By hiding my wickedness in my bosom,
If like Adam or like [other] men I have concealed my transgressions, by hiding my iniquity in my bosom
If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:
Have I covered my transgressions as others do by hiding my iniquity in my heart
If I have hidden my transgressions like Adam, concealing my offenses inside me
“If I concealed my sins, as most people do, by hiding my wrongdoing in my heart,
Many have attempted to hide their sins from others— but I refused.
If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom,
If as a man I have hid my sin, and have concealed my iniquity in my bosom.
I have not tried to hide my sins as some people do. I have never hidden my guilt.
I do not try to hide my sins, as some people do.
If I had covered up my sin like Adam, and I had hidden my guilt in my heart,
if I have concealed my transgressions as others do by hiding my iniquity in my heart,
if I have concealed my transgressions as others do by hiding my iniquity in my bosom,
I have not hidden my ·sin [transgression] ·as others do [or like Adam did; Gen. 3], ·secretly keeping my guilt to myself [L concealing my guilt in my bosom].
If I have hid my sins, as Adam, concealing mine iniquity in my bosom,
“If I have covered my disobedience like Adam and kept my sin to myself,
Others try to hide their sins, but I have never concealed mine.
Have I covered my transgressions as others do by hiding my guilt in my heart,
I have not hidden my sin as other men do. I did not hide my guilt in my heart.
“Have I covered my transgression like other people, to conceal iniquity within myself?
¶ If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding my iniquity in my bosom;
If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:

If I have covered my transgressions like Adam, By hiding my iniquity in my bosom,
Have I concealed my transgressions as other human beings to hide my iniquity in my bosom
or if, like Adam, I have tried to hide my sins,
“Didn’t those who worked for me say, ‘He fed us well. There were always second helpings’? And no stranger ever had to spend a night in the street; my doors were always open to travelers. Did I hide my sin the way Adam did, or conceal my guilt behind closed doors Because I was afraid what people would say, fearing the gossip of the neighbors so much That I turned myself into a recluse? You know good and well that I didn’t.
if I covered my transgressions as any man, by hiding my iniquity in my heart,
“If I have covered my disobedience like Adam and kept my sin to myself,
Had I, all too human, hidden my sins and buried my guilt in my bosom
Have I covered my wrongdoings like a man, By hiding my guilt in my shirt pocket,
“Have I covered my transgressions like Adam, By hiding my iniquity in my bosom,
“Have I ever concealed my transgressions as others do, keeping my guilt buried within my breast,
I have not hidden my sin as others do, secretly keeping my guilt to myself.
if I have covered my transgressions as men do, by hiding iniquity in my heart,
I didn’t hide my sin as other people do. I didn’t hide my guilt in my heart.
if I have concealed my sin as people do, by hiding my guilt in my heart

Have I hidden my sins like Adam? Have I hidden my wrong-doing in my heart,
“Have I tried to hide my sins like other people do, concealing my guilt in my heart?
if I have concealed my transgressions as others do, by hiding my iniquity in my bosom,

If I concealed my peysha like Adam, by hiding mine avon in my heart,

If I have covered my sin as people do or attempted to hide my wrongdoing in the recesses of my heart
if like Adam I have covered my transgressions, by hiding my iniquity in my heart,
if I as [a] man (ever) hid my sin, and covered (up) my wickedness in my bosom;
If I have covered as Adam my transgressions, To hide in my bosom mine iniquity,
