Job 33:19
“He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain,
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, And with continual strife in his bones;
“Man is also disciplined with pain on his bed, And with unceasing complaint in his bones,
[God’s voice may be heard by man when] he is chastened with pain upon his bed and with continual strife in his bones or while all his bones are firmly set,
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
A person may be disciplined on his bed with pain and constant distress in his bones,
Or a person may be disciplined by pain while in bed, bones ever aching
“He is also warned by pain when in bed, when all his bones are hurting;
Sometimes we are punished with a serious illness and aching joints.
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and with constant strife in his bones;
He rebuketh also by sorrow in the bed, and he maketh all his bones to wither.
“Or those who are sick in bed might be suffering punishment from God. The pain that makes their bones ache might be a warning from him.
Or God may warn people with a painful illness. He may make their bodies hurt all the time.
Or a person may be disciplined on his bed by pain and by continual agony in his bones,
“Man is also rebuked with pain on his bed and with continual strife in his bones,
“Man is also rebuked with pain on his bed and with continual strife in his bones,
People may be ·corrected [reprimanded; reproved] while in bed in great pain; they may have continual pain in their very bones.
He is also stricken with sorrow upon his bed, and the grief of his bones is sore,
In pain on their sickbeds, they are disciplined with endless aching in their bones
God corrects us by sending sickness and filling our bodies with pain.
A person may be disciplined on his bed with pain and constant distress in his bones,
A man may be corrected while on his bed in great pain. He may have continual pain in his very bones.
“He is being reproved by painful bed rest, with continual aching in his bones.
¶ He is chastened also upon his bed with strong pain in all his bones,
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

“Man is also reproved with pain on his bed, And with unceasing contention in his bones,
“And he is reproved with pain on his bed, even with the strife of his bones continually,
“Or God sends sickness and pain, even though no bone is broken,
“Or, God might get their attention through pain, by throwing them on a bed of suffering, So they can’t stand the sight of food, have no appetite for their favorite treats. They lose weight, wasting away to nothing, reduced to a bag of bones. They hang on the cliff-edge of death, knowing the next breath may be their last.
“He is also chastened with pain on his bed, and with strong pain in many of his bones,
In pain on their sickbeds, they are disciplined with endless aching in their bones
Or he is chastened on a bed of pain, suffering continually in his bones,
“A person is also rebuked by pain in his bed, And with constant complaint in his bones,
“Man is also chastened with pain on his bed, And with unceasing complaint in his bones;
“Or again, he chastens him with pain upon his bed and with unceasing agony in his bones,
People may be corrected while in bed in great pain; they may have continual pain in their very bones.
Or a person is chastened by pain on his bed, and with the continual strife of his bones,
Someone might be punished by suffering in bed. The pain in their bones might never go away.
“Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones,
‘Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones,
“Man is also chastened with pain on his bed, And with strong pain in many of his bones,
“Man is also punished with pain on his bed and has pain all the time in his bones.
“Or God disciplines people with pain on their sickbeds, with ceaseless aching in their bones.
They are also chastened with pain upon their beds, and with continual strife in their bones,
They are also chastened with pain upon their beds, and with continual strife in their bones,

Or a person is chastened with pain on his bed, with continual strife in his bones,
Or another kind of answer God gives comes thus: one may be corrected through a bed of pain; his bones may hold him in an unceasing trial,
“He is chastened also with pain on his bed, with continual strife in his bones,
Also God blameth a man by sorrow in his bed, and he maketh all the bones of him for to wax rotten. (And God correcteth a person by sending sickness to him in his bed, and he maketh all his bones to grow rotten.)
And he hath been reproved With pain on his bed, And the strife of his bones [is] enduring.
