And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents to pass over the Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,

¶ And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;
When the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priests carried the ark of the covenant ahead of the people.
The people marched out from their tents to cross over the Jordan. The priests carrying the covenant chest were in front of the people.
So the people left their tents to cross the Yarden, with the cohanim carrying the ark for the covenant ahead of the people.
The Israelites packed up and left camp. The priests carrying the chest walked in front,
And it came to pass when the people removed from their tents, to pass over the Jordan, that the priests bearing the ark of the covenant were before the people;
So the people went out of their tents, to pass over the Jordan: and the priests that carried the ark of the covenant. went on before them.
The priests carried the Box of the Agreement, and the people left the place they had camped. The people started going across the Jordan River.
So the Israelite people prepared to leave their tents. The priests carried the Covenant Box towards the Jordan River. The people followed them.
So the people set out from their tents to cross the Jordan, and the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant went ahead of the people.

So the people left ·the place where they had camped [their camp/L tents], and they followed the priests who carried the Ark of the ·Agreement [Covenant; Treaty] across the Jordan River.
¶ Then when the people were departed from their tents to go over Jordan, the Priests bearing the Ark of the covenant, went before the people.
So they broke camp to cross the Jordan River. The priests who carried the ark of the promise went ahead of the people.
It was harvest time, and the river was in flood. When the people left the camp to cross the Jordan, the priests went ahead of them, carrying the Covenant Box. As soon as the priests stepped into the river,

So the priests carried the Ark of the Covenant. And the people left the place where they had camped. Then they started across the Jordan River.
So the people set out from their tents to cross the Jordan River, with the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant in full view of the people.
¶ And it came to pass when the people removed from their tents to pass the Jordan and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,

So it happened that when the people set out from their tents to cross the Jordan with the priests carrying the ark of the covenant before the people,
And it happened, when the people set out from their tents to cross over the Jordan, the priests carrying the ark of the covenant were ahead of the people.
When the priests who are carrying the Ark touch the water with their feet, the river will stop flowing as though held back by a dam, and will pile up as though against an invisible wall!” Now it was the harvest season and the Jordan was overflowing all its banks; but as the people set out to cross the river and as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge,
And that’s what happened. The people left their tents to cross the Jordan, led by the priests carrying the Chest of the Covenant. When the priests got to the Jordan and their feet touched the water at the edge (the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest), the flow of water stopped. It piled up in a heap—a long way off—at Adam, which is near Zarethan. The river went dry all the way down to the Arabah Sea (the Salt Sea). And the people crossed, facing Jericho.

So it came to pass. When the people set out from their tents to cross over the Jordan, the kohanim were carrying the ark of the covenant ahead of the people.
So the people set out from their tents to cross the Jordan, with the priests carrying the covenant chest before them.
When the people moved from their tents to pass over the Jordan, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant being before the people,
Therefore the people went out of their tabernacles for to pass over (the) Jordan; and the priests that bare the ark of [the] bond of peace went before the people. (And so the people went out of their tents to cross over the Jordan River; and the priests who carried the Ark of the Covenant went before the people.)
And it cometh to pass, in the journeying of the people from their tents to pass over the Jordan, and of the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,
