Leviticus 24:21
Print
And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it; and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
And he that killeth a beast shall make it good: and he that killeth a man shall be put to death.
The one who kills an animal shall replace it; but he who kills a human being [unlawfully] shall be put to death.
He who kills a beast shall replace it; he who kills a man shall be put to death.
And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal is to make restitution for it, but whoever kills a person is to be put to death.
Someone who kills an animal must make amends for it, but whoever kills a human being must be executed.
(Maftir) He who kills an animal is to make restitution, but he who kills another person is to be put to death.
It's possible to pay the owner for an animal that has been killed, but death is the penalty for murder.
He that smiteth a beast [mortally] shall make it good; and he that smiteth a man [mortally] shall be put to death.
He that striketh a beast, shall render another. He that striketh a man shall be punished.
Whoever kills an animal must pay for the animal. But whoever kills another person must be put to death.
A man might hit an animal so that it dies. That man must give back an animal that is alive. But if he kills a man, you must punish him with death.
One who strikes an animal so that it dies shall make restitution for it, but one who strikes a human being and kills him shall be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal shall make it good, and whoever kills a person shall be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal shall make it good, and whoever kills a person shall be put to death.
Whoever ·kills [L strikes] another person’s animal must give that person another animal to take its place. But whoever ·kills [strikes] another person must be put to death.
And he that killeth a beast, shall restore it: but he that killeth a man, shall be slain.
Whoever kills an animal must replace it. Whoever kills a person must be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal shall replace it, but whoever kills a human being shall be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal is to make restitution for it, but whoever kills a person is to be put to death.
So anyone who kills another person’s animal must give that person another animal to take its place. But the person who kills another person must be put to death.
Whoever beats an animal to death is to replace it, but whoever beats a human being to death is to be put to death.
He that kills an animal shall restore it, but he that kills a man shall be put to death.
And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
Thus the one who strikes down an animal shall make restitution for it, but the one who strikes down a man shall be put to death.
And a killer of a domestic animal must repay for it, and a killer of a human shall be put to death.
“To repeat, whoever kills an animal must replace it, and whoever kills a man must die.
“Anyone who hits and kills a fellow human must be put to death. Anyone who kills someone’s animal must make it good—a life for a life. Anyone who injures his neighbor will get back the same as he gave: fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. What he did to hurt that person will be done to him. Anyone who hits and kills an animal must make it good, but whoever hits and kills a fellow human will be put to death. And no double standards: the same rule goes for foreigners and natives. I am God, your God.”
Whoever kills an animal shall make restitution. And whoever kills a man shall be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal must replace it. Whoever kills a person must be put to death.
Whoever takes the life of an animal shall make restitution, but whoever takes a human life shall be put to death.
So the one who kills an animal shall make restitution, but the one who kills a person shall be put to death.
Thus the one who kills an animal shall make it good, but the one who kills a man shall be put to death.
He who kills an animal shall make restitution and he who kills a man shall be put to death.
Whoever kills another person’s animal must give that person another animal to take its place. But whoever kills another person must be put to death.
One who beats an animal to death must make restitution for it, but one who beats a person to death must be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal must pay its owner. But if they kill a human being, they must be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal must make restitution, but whoever kills a human being is to be put to death.
Whoever kills an animal must make restitution, but whoever kills a human being is to be put to death.
And whoever kills an animal shall restore it; but whoever kills a man shall be put to death.
So the one who kills an animal will pay for it with an animal. But the one who kills a man will be put to death.
“Whoever kills an animal must pay for it in full, but whoever kills another person must be put to death.
One who kills an animal shall make restitution for it; but one who kills a human being shall be put to death.
One who kills an animal shall make restitution for it; but one who kills a human being shall be put to death.
One who kills an animal shall make restitution for it; but one who kills a human being shall be put to death.
One who kills an animal shall make restitution for it, but one who kills a human being shall be put to death.
And he that killeth a beast, he shall restitute it; and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
He who kills a beast shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.
He who kills a beast shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.
“Whoever kills an animal is to make restitution, but the one who kills a man is to be put to death.
Any person who takes the life of an animal is to compensate his owner for it, but any person who takes the life of another human being must be put to death.
He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.
He that smiteth a work beast, yield he another; he that smiteth a man, shall die. (He who striketh down a work beast, give he another in its place; he who striketh down a man, shall be put to death.)
`And he who smiteth a beast repayeth it, and he who smiteth [the life of] man is put to death;
