Now when John had heard in prison of the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
Now when John heard in the prison the works of the Christ, he sent by his disciples
Now when John [the Baptist] in prison heard about the activities of Christ, he sent word by his disciples
Now when John in prison heard about the activities of Christ, he sent a message by his disciples
Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
Now when John heard in prison what the Christ was doing, he sent a message through his disciples
Now when John heard in prison about the things the Christ was doing, he sent word by his disciples to Jesus, asking,
Meanwhile, Yochanan the Immerser, who had been put in prison, heard what the Messiah had been doing; so he sent a message to him through his talmidim,
John was in prison when he heard what Christ was doing. So John sent some of his followers
But John, having heard in the prison the works of the Christ, sent by his disciples,
Now John, having in prison heard-of the works of the Christ, having sent through his disciples,
Now when John had heard in prison the works of Christ: sending two of his disciples he said to him:
When John was in prison, he heard about the things that were happening—things the Messiah would do. So he sent some of his followers to Jesus.
At that time, John the Baptist was in prison. But people told him about all the things that Jesus the Messiah was doing. So John sent some of his own disciples to ask Jesus some questions.
While John was in prison, he heard about the things Christ was doing. He sent two of his disciples
Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples
Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples
John the Baptist was in prison, but he heard about ·what Christ was doing [or the deeds/actions of the Messiah]. So John sent some of his ·followers [disciples] to Jesus.
¶ And when John heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and said unto him,
When John was in prison, he heard about the things Christ had done. So he sent his disciples
When John the Baptist heard in prison about the things that Christ was doing, he sent some of his disciples to him.
When John heard in prison what the Messiah was doing, he sent a message by his disciples
John the Baptist was in prison, but he heard about the things the Christ was doing. So John sent some of his followers to Jesus.
Now when John heard in prison about the activities of the Messiah, he sent a message by his disciples
John the Baptist was in prison when he heard what Christ was doing, and he sent a message through his own disciples asking the question, “Are you the one who was to come or are we to look for somebody else?”

John the Baptist, who was now in prison, heard about all the miracles the Messiah was doing, so he sent his disciples to ask Jesus,
John, meanwhile, had been locked up in prison. When he got wind of what Jesus was doing, he sent his own disciples to ask, “Are you the One we’ve been expecting, or are we still waiting?”
Now when John had heard in prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

When John who was in prison heard what Christ was doing, he sent his disciples

John the Baptist was in prison. When he heard about the actions of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to him.

And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples
When John the Baptist was in prison, he heard what Jesus was doing. He sent his followers.

Meanwhile, John, who was in prison, heard about these messianic goings-on. He sent word through his followers.
Now when Yochanan, in the beit hasohor (prison), heard of the maasei haMoshiach (works of Moshiach), he sent his talmidim to Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach.
And when John (who was in the prison) heard of the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and said to Him,

John, meanwhile, was still in prison. But stories about the Anointed One’s teachings and healing reached him. So John sent his followers

John was in prison. He heard what Christ was doing. So he sent two of his disciples to him.
But when John in bonds had heard the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
And John having heard in the prison the works of the Christ, having sent two of his disciples,
