Therefore the king said unto me, “Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? This is nothing else but sorrow of heart.” Then I was very sore afraid,
And the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid.
So the king said to me, “Why do you look sad when you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of heart.” Then I was very frightened,

Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,
so the king said to me, “Why do you look so sad, when you aren’t sick? This is nothing but sadness of heart.” I was overwhelmed with fear
the king asked me, “Why do you seem sad? Since you aren’t sick, you must have a broken heart!” I was very afraid
The king asked, “Why do you look so sad? You’re not sick, so this must be some deep inner grief.” At this, I became very fearful,
So the king said, “Why do you look so sad? You're not sick. Something must be bothering you.” Even though I was frightened,
And the king said to me, Why is thy face sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sadness of heart. And I was very sore afraid.
And the king said to me: Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou dost not appear to be sick? this is not without cause, but some evil, I know not what, is in thy heart. And I was seized with an exceeding great fear:
So the king asked me, “Are you sick? Why do you look sad? I think your heart is full of sadness.” Then I was very afraid.
The king asked me, ‘Why are you sad? You are not ill. This must mean that you are very upset.’ I was very frightened.
so the king said to me, “Why do you look sad, since you are not sick? This must be sadness in your heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
And the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of the heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
And the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of the heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
So the king said, “Why does your face look sad even though you are not sick? ·Your heart must be sad [You must be very troubled].” Then I was very afraid.
And the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing, but sorrow of heart. Then was I sore afraid,
The king asked me, “Why do you look so sad? You aren’t sick, are you? You must be troubled about something.” (I was really afraid).
so he asked, “Why are you looking so sad? You aren't sick, so it must be that you're unhappy.” I was startled
so the king said to me, “Why are you sad, when you aren’t sick? This is nothing but depression.” I was overwhelmed with fear
So the king said, “Why does your face look sad? You are not sick. Your heart must be sad.” Then I was very afraid.
The king asked me, “Why do you look so troubled, since you’re not ill? This cannot be anything else but troubles of the heart.” Then I was filled with fear.

One day in April, four months later, as I was serving the king his wine he asked me, “Why so sad? You aren’t sick, are you? You look like a man with deep troubles.” (For until then I had always been cheerful when I was with him.) I was badly frightened,
It was the month of Nisan in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king. At the hour for serving wine I brought it in and gave it to the king. I had never been hangdog in his presence before, so he asked me, “Why the long face? You’re not sick are you? Or are you depressed?” That made me all the more agitated. I said, “Long live the king! And why shouldn’t I be depressed when the city, the city where all my family is buried, is in ruins and the city gates have been reduced to cinders?”
So the king said to me, “Why is your face troubled though you do not seem sick? This is nothing but a troubled heart.” Then I became very much afraid
The king asked me, “Why do you look so sad? You aren’t sick, are you? You must be troubled about something.” (I was really afraid).
the king asked me, “Why do you look sad? If you are not sick, you must be sad at heart.” Though I was seized with great fear,
So the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, though you are not ill? This is nothing but sadness of heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
So the king said to me, “Why is your face sad though you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
the king asked me: “Why do you look so depressed? You clearly are not ill. This is the result of your sadness of heart.” Despite the fact that I was greatly fearful,
So the king said, “Why does your face look sad even though you are not sick? Your heart must be sad.” Then I was very afraid.
So the king said to me, “Why do you appear to be depressed when you aren’t sick? What can this be other than sadness of heart?” This made me very fearful.
So the king asked me, “Why are you looking so sad? You aren’t sick. You must be feeling very sad.” I was really afraid.
so the king asked me, “Why does your face look so sad when you are not ill? This can be nothing but sadness of heart.” I was very much afraid,
so the king asked me, ‘Why does your face look so sad when you are not ill? This can be nothing but sadness of heart.’ I was very much afraid,
Therefore the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This is nothing but sorrow of heart.” So I became dreadfully afraid,
So the king said to me, “Why is your face so sad when you are not sick? It must be that you are sad in your heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
So the king asked me, “Why are you looking so sad? You don’t look sick to me. You must be deeply troubled.” Then I was terrified,
So the king said to me, ‘Why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This can only be sadness of the heart.’ Then I was very much afraid.
So the king said to me, ‘Why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This can only be sadness of the heart.’ Then I was very much afraid.

Wherefore HaMelech said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not choleh (sick)? This is nothing else but ro’ah lev. Then I was very much afraid,

And the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? This is nothing else but sadness of the heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
So the king said to me, “Why is your face so sad when you are not ill? This can be nothing but sadness of heart.” I was very frightened,
Artaxerxes (to Nehemiah): You look disturbed. I know you are not ill. The sadness I see in you is the sadness of the heart. What is wrong? As I stood there before the king I was very afraid.
The king said to me, “Why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This is nothing else but sorrow of heart.” Then I was very much afraid.
And the king said to me, Why is thy cheer sorry, or heavy, since I see not thee sick? This is not without cause; but I know not what evil is in thine heart. And I dreaded full greatly; (And the king said to me, Why is thy face so sad? for I see that thou art not sick. This is not without a cause; but I do not know what the problem is in thy heart. And I greatly feared;)
and the king saith to me, `Wherefore [is] thy face sad, and thou not sick? this is nothing except sadness of heart;' and I fear very much,
