The Levites encouraged the people by saying, “This is a sacred day, so don't worry or mourn!”
And the Levites quieted all the people, saying, Be still! for the day is holy; neither be grieved.
And the Levites stilled all the people, saying: Hold your peace, for the day is holy, and be not sorrowful.
The Levites helped the people to calm down. They said, “Be quiet, calm down, this is a special day. Don’t be sad.”
The Levites also comforted the people. They said, ‘Do not weep. Today is a holy day, so do not be sad.’
Then the Levites silenced all the people, saying, “Hush! Today is holy. Do not grieve.”
So the Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be quiet, for this day is holy; do not be grieved.”
So the Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be quiet, for this day is holy; do not be grieved.”
The Levites helped calm the people, saying, “Be ·quiet [still], because this is a ·holy [sacred] day. Don’t ·be sad [grieve; mourn].”
And the Levites made silence throughout all the people, saying, Hold your peace: for the day is holy, be not sad therefore.
So the Levites calmed all the people by saying, “Listen. Today is a holy day. Don’t be sad.”
The Levites went around calming the people and telling them not to be sad on such a holy day.
And the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Be still, since today is holy. Do not grieve.”
The Levites helped calm the people. They said, “Be quiet. This is a holy day. Don’t be sad.”
The descendants of Levi also calmed all the people by saying, “Be still, for the day is holy. Don’t be sorrowful!”
So the Levites caused all the people to be silent, saying, Be silent, for the day is holy; neither be ye sad.

So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Hush! Because today is holy you should stop being so sorrowful.”
So the Levites calmed all the people by saying, “Listen. Today is a holy day. Don’t be sad.”
And the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Silence! Today is holy, do not be saddened.”
So the Levites silenced all the people, saying, “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.”
So the Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.”
The Levites, thereupon, calmed all the people, saying: “Be quiet, for this is a sacred day. There is no reason for you to be saddened.”
The Levites helped calm the people, saying, “Be quiet, because this is a holy day. Don’t be sad.”
Then the Levites quieted all the people saying, “Be quiet, for this day is holy. Do not grieve.”
The Levites calmed all the people down. They said, “Be quiet. This is a holy day. So don’t be sad.”

And the deacons made silence in all the people, and said, Be ye still, for this is an holy day, and make ye no sorrow. (And the Levites silenced all the people, and said, Be ye quiet, for this day is holy, and so do not ye be sad.)
And the Levites are keeping all the people silent, saying, `Be silent, for to-day [is] holy, and be not grieved.'
