And he took up his parable and said: “Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said,
And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, And the man whose eye was closed saith;
He took up his [third] discourse (oracle) and said: “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, And the oracle of the man whose eye is opened [at last, to see clearly the purpose and will of God],
And he took up his [figurative] discourse and said: Balaam son of Beor, the man whose eye is opened [at last, to see clearly the purposes and will of God],
And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
and he proclaimed his poem: The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eyes are opened,
He raised his voice and made his address: “The oracle of Balaam, Beor’s son; the oracle of a man whose eye is open.
and he made his pronouncement: “This is the speech of Bil‘am, son of B‘or; the speech of the man whose eyes have been opened;
and Balaam said: “I am the son of Beor, and my words are true, so listen to my message!
And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, and the man of opened eye saith,
He took up his parable and said: Balaam the son of Beor hath said: The man hath said, whose eye ire stopped up:
and he gave this message: “This message is from Balaam son of Beor. I am speaking about things I see clearly.
As a result, Balaam said, ‘This is God's message that he has given to Balaam, the son of Beor. It is the words of a man who understands what God is saying.
He took up his oracle and said: The declaration of Balaam son of Beor, the declaration of the man whose eye is open,
and he took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,
and he took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,
and he gave this ·message [or oracle; or poem]: “This is the ·message [utterance] of Balaam son of Beor, the ·message [utterance] of a man ·who sees clearly [L whose eye is open];
And he uttered his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes were shut up, hath said,
and he delivered this message: “This is the message of Balaam, son of Beor. This is the message of the man whose eyesight is clear.
and he uttered this prophecy: “The message of Balaam son of Beor, The words of the man who can see clearly,
and he proclaimed his poem: The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eyes are opened,
And Balaam gave this message: “This is the message of Balaam son of Beor. This is the message of a man who sees clearly.
Balaam uttered this prophetic statement: “A declaration by Beor’s son Balaam, a declaration by the strong, blind man.
Then he took up his parable and said, Balaam, the son of Beor, has said and the man whose eyes are open has said,
And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
Then he took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, And the oracle of the man whose eye is uncovered;
He uttered his oracle and said, “The declaration of Balaam son Beor, the declaration of the man whose eyes are closed,
and he spoke this prophecy concerning them: “Balaam the son of Beor says— The man whose eyes are open says— ‘I have listened to the word of God, I have seen what God Almighty showed me; I fell, and my eyes were opened: Oh, the joys awaiting Israel, Joys in the homes of Jacob. I see them spread before me as green valleys, And fruitful gardens by the riverside; As aloes planted by the Lord himself; As cedar trees beside the waters. They shall be blessed with an abundance of water, And they shall live in many places. Their king will be greater than Agag; Their kingdom is exalted. God has brought them from Egypt. Israel has the strength of a wild ox, And shall eat up the nations that oppose him; He shall break their bones in pieces, And shall shoot them with many arrows. Israel sleeps as a lion or a lioness— Who dares arouse him? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, O Israel, And curses shall fall upon everyone who curses you.’”
By now Balaam realized that God wanted to bless Israel. So he didn’t work in any sorcery as he had done earlier. He turned and looked out over the wilderness. As Balaam looked, he saw Israel camped tribe by tribe. The Spirit of God came on him, and he spoke his oracle-message: Decree of Balaam son of Beor, yes, decree of a man with 20/20 vision; Decree of a man who hears God speak, who sees what The Strong God shows him, Who falls on his face in worship, who sees what’s really going on. What beautiful tents, Jacob, oh, your homes, Israel! Like valleys stretching out in the distance, like gardens planted by rivers, Like sweet herbs planted by the gardener God, like red cedars by pools and springs, Their buckets will brim with water, their seed will spread life everywhere. Their king will tower over Agag and his ilk, their kingdom surpassingly majestic. God brought them out of Egypt, rampaging like a wild ox, Gulping enemies like morsels of meat, crushing their bones, snapping their arrows. Israel crouches like a lion and naps, king-of-the-beasts—who dares disturb him? Whoever blesses you is blessed, whoever curses you is cursed.
He took up his proverb and said: “Balaam the son of Beor has said, and the man whose eyes are open has said,
and he delivered this message: “This is the message of Balaam, son of Beor. This is the message of the man whose eyesight is clear.
and he recited his poem: The oracle of Balaam, son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is true,
Then he took up his discourse and said, “The declaration of Balaam the son of Beor, And the declaration of the man whose eye is opened;
He took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, And the oracle of the man whose eye is opened;
and he took up his oracle: “The oracle of Balaam, the son of Beor, the oracle of one whose eye is opened.
and he gave this message: “This is the message of Balaam son of Beor, the message of a man who sees clearly;
Then he uttered this oracle: “The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eyes are open,
Balaam spoke the message he had received from God. He said, “Here is the message God gave Balaam, the son of Beor. It’s the message God gave to the one who sees clearly.
and he spoke his message: “The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor, the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly,
and he spoke his message: ‘The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor, the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly,
Then he took up his oracle and said: “The utterance of Balaam the son of Beor, The utterance of the man whose eyes are opened,
He began speaking and said, “Balaam the son of Beor is the man whose eye is opened.
and this is the message he delivered: “This is the message of Balaam son of Beor, the message of the man whose eyes see clearly,
and he uttered his oracle, saying: ‘The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is clear,
and he uttered his oracle, saying: ‘The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is clear,
and he uttered his oracle, saying: “The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is clear,
and he uttered his oracle, saying, “The oracle of Balaam son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is clear,
And he took up his mashal, and said, Balaam ben Beor hath said, the man whose eyes are open hath said,
and he took up his discourse, and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Be′or, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,
and he took up his discourse, and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Be′or, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,
He uttered his oracle and said: “This is the oracle of Balaam son of Beor, and the oracle of a strong man whose eye has been opened,
He recited God’s words. Balaam: This is an oracle of Balaam (Beor’s son), a man whose eyes have been opened,
He took up his parable, and said, “Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eyes are open says;
and when the parable was taken (and when he had received his prophecy), he said, Balaam, the son of Beor, said, (yea,) a man, whose eye is stopped, said,
and he taketh up his simile, and saith: `An affirmation of Balaam son of Beor -- And an affirmation of the man whose eyes are shut --
