Numbers 23:8

How shall I curse whom God hath not cursed? Or how shall I defy whom the Lord hath not defied?
How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? And how shall I defy, whom Jehovah hath not defied?
“How shall I curse those whom God has not cursed? Or how can I [violently] denounce those the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse those God has not cursed? Or how can I [violently] denounce those the Lord has not denounced?
How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?
How can I curse someone God has not cursed? How can I denounce someone the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse whom God hasn’t cursed? How can I denounce whom God hasn’t denounced?
“How am I to curse those whom God has not cursed? How am I to denounce those whom Adonai has not denounced?
But I can't go against God! He did not curse or condemn Israel. *
How shall I curse whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I denounce whom Jehovah doth not denounce?
How shall I curse him, whom God hath not cursed? By what means should I detest him, whom the Lord detesteth not?
But God is not against them, so I cannot speak against them either! The Lord has not asked for bad things to happen to these people. So I cannot do that either.
But I cannot curse these people, because God has not cursed them. I cannot speak against people that the Lord does not speak against.
How can I curse someone God has not cursed? How can I denounce someone the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?
But ·God has not cursed them, so I cannot curse them [L how can I curse what God has not cursed?]. ·The Lord has not called down evil on them, so I cannot call down evil on them [L How can I call down evil on/denounce what the Lord has not called down evil/denouced?].
How shall I curse, where God hath not cursed? or how shall I detest, where the Lord hath not detested?
How can I curse those whom God hasn’t cursed? How can I condemn those whom the Lord hasn’t condemned?
How can I curse what God has not cursed, Or speak of doom when the Lord has not?
How can I curse someone God has not cursed? How can I denounce someone the Lord has not denounced?
But God has not cursed them. So I cannot curse them. The Lord has not wished evil on them. So I cannot wish evil on them.
But how can I curse those whom God hasn’t cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord hasn’t denounced?
Why should I curse one whom God has not cursed? And why should I denounce one whom the LORD has not denounced?
How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?
How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?
How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how can I denounce whom Yahweh has not denounced?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed, and how can I denounce whom Yahweh has not denounced?
This was Balaam’s message: “King Balak, king of Moab, has brought me From the land of Aram, From the eastern mountains. ‘Come,’ he told me, ‘curse Jacob for me! Let your anger rise on Israel.’ But how can I curse What God has not cursed? How can I denounce A people God has not denounced? I see them from the cliff tops, I watch them from the hills. They live alone, And prefer to remain distinct From every other nation. They are as numerous as dust! They are beyond numbering. If only I could die as happy as an Israelite! Oh, that my end might be like theirs!”
He went back and found him stationed beside his Whole-Burnt-Offering and with him all the nobles of Moab. Then Balaam spoke his message-oracle: Balak led me here from Aram, the king of Moab all the way from the eastern mountains. “Go, curse Jacob for me; go, damn Israel.” How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I damn whom God has not damned? From rock pinnacles I see them, from hilltops I survey them: Look! a people camping off by themselves, thinking themselves outsiders among nations. But who could ever count the dust of Jacob or take a census of cloud-of-dust Israel? I want to die like these right-living people! I want an end just like theirs!
How will I curse whom God has not cursed? Or how will I defy whom the Lord has not defied?
How can I curse those whom El hasn’t cursed? How can I condemn those whom Yahweh hasn’t condemned?
How can I lay a curse on the one whom God has not cursed? How denounce the one whom the Lord has not denounced?
How am I to put a curse on him upon whom God has not put a curse? And how am I to curse him whom the Lord has not cursed?
“How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how can I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?
How shall I curse those whom God has not cursed, how shall I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?
But God has not cursed them, so I cannot curse them. The Lord has not called down evil on them, so I cannot call down evil on them.
How can I curse one whom God has not cursed, or how can I denounce one whom the Lord has not denounced?
But how can I put a curse on people God hasn’t cursed? How can I speak against people the Lord hasn’t spoken against?
How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?
“How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I say that those should be punished whom God has not said should be punished?
But how can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I condemn those whom the Lord has not condemned?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?
How shall I curse, whom El hath not cursed? Or how shall I denounce, whom Hashem hath not denounced?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?
How can I curse one whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce one whom Adonai has not denounced?
But I ask you, how can I curse any whom God has not cursed or denounce whomever the Eternal has not denounced?
How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? How shall I defy whom Yahweh has not defied?
How shall I curse, whom God hath cursed not? (But how can I curse, whom God hath not cursed?) by what reason shall I loathe, whom God loatheth not?
What -- do I pierce? -- God hath not pierced! And what -- am I indignant? -- Jehovah hath not been indignant!
