Obadiah 2
“Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen; thou art greatly despised.
Behold, I have made thee small among the nations: thou art greatly despised.
“Behold [Edom], I shall [humiliate you and] make you small among the nations; You are greatly despised.
Behold, I will make you small among the nations [Edom]; you shall be despised exceedingly.
Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.
Look, I will make you insignificant among the nations; you will be deeply despised.
Look now, I will make you of little importance among the nations; you will be totally despised.
“I am making you the least of all nations, you will be beneath contempt.
The Lord said to Edom: I will make you the weakest and most despised nation.
Behold, I have made thee small among the nations; thou art greatly despised.
Behold I have made thee small among the nations: thou art exceeding contemptible.
“Edom, I will make you the smallest nation. Everyone will hate you very much.
The Lord says to Edom, ‘I will make you small among other people. They will think that you are not worth anything.
Listen, I will make you insignificant among the nations. You will be completely despised.
Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you shall be utterly despised.
Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you shall be utterly despised.
“·Soon [L Look; T Behold] I will make you ·the smallest of [or weak among the] nations. You will be greatly ·hated [despised] by everyone.
Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art utterly despised.
“Edom, I will make you the smallest of nations. Others will despise you.
The Lord says to Edom, “I will make you weak; everyone will despise you.
Look, I will make you insignificant among the nations; you will be deeply despised.
“Look, I have made you only a small nation. Others do not respect you.
“Look! I will make you insignificant among the nations; you will be utterly despised.
Behold, I have made thee small among the Gentiles: thou shalt be greatly humbled.
Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.
Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.
“Behold, I will make you small among the nations; You are greatly despised.
“Look, I will make you insignificant among the nations. You will be utterly despised!
“I will cut you down to size among the nations, Edom, making you small and despised.
“Listen to this, Edom: I’m turning you to a no-account, the runt of the godless nations, despised. You thought you were so great, perched high among the rocks, king of the mountain, Thinking to yourself, ‘Nobody can get to me! Nobody can touch me!’ Think again. Even if, like an eagle, you hang out on a high cliff-face, Even if you build your nest in the stars, I’ll bring you down to earth.” God’s sure Word.
See, I will make you small among the nations; you will be greatly despised.
“Edom, I will make you the smallest of nations. Others will despise you.
Now I make you least among the nations; you are utterly contemptible.
“Behold, I will make you small among the nations; You are greatly despised.
“Behold, I will make you small among the nations; You are greatly despised.
The Lord says to Edom: I will make you the least of all the nations; you are the object of utter contempt.
“Soon I will make you the smallest of nations. You will be greatly hated by everyone.
The Lord says, “Look! I will make you a weak nation; you will be greatly despised!
The Lord says to Edom, “I will make you weak among the nations. They will look down on you.
“See, I will make you small among the nations; you will be utterly despised.
‘See, I will make you small among the nations; you will be utterly despised.
“Behold, I will make you small among the nations; You shall be greatly despised.
“I will make you small among the nations. Everyone will hate you.
The Lord says to Edom, “I will cut you down to size among the nations; you will be greatly despised.
I will surely make you least among the nations; you shall be utterly despised.
I will surely make you least among the nations; you shall be utterly despised.
I will surely make you least among the nations; you shall be utterly despised.
I will surely make you least among the nations; you shall be utterly despised.
Hinei, I have made thee small among the Goyim; thou art greatly despised.
Behold, I will make you small among the nations, you shall be utterly despised.
Behold, I will make you small among the nations, you shall be utterly despised.
Behold, I will make you least among the nations, you will be greatly despised.
Eternal One (to Edom): See how insignificant I will make you compared to other nations; you will be completely despised by the rest of the world.
Behold, I have made you small among the nations. You are greatly despised.
Lo! I gave thee (to be) little in heathen men, thou art full much worthy to be despised. (Lo! I made thee, O Edom, to be the least among the heathen, and thou art very worthy to be despised.)
Lo, little I have made thee among nations, Despised [art] thou exceedingly.
