For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away; his glory shall not descend after him.

because when they die, they won’t take any of it with them. Their fantastic things won’t accompany them down under.
Don’t be afraid when someone gets rich, when the wealth of his family grows.
Soon they will die and all their wealth will be left behind.

Seeing thou hast hated discipline: and hast cast my words behind thee.
They will not take anything with them when they die. They will not take their wealth with them.
He cannot take anything with him when he dies. His riches cannot go with him into death.
because when he dies, he cannot take anything along. His glory will not go down with him.

So don’t be impressed with those who get rich and pile up fame and fortune. They can’t take it with them; fame and fortune all get left behind. Just when they think they’ve arrived and folks praise them because they’ve made good, They enter the family burial plot where they’ll never see sunshine again.
for he takes nothing away in death; his glory does not descend after him.
