When I cry unto Thee, then shall mine enemies turn back! This I know, for God is for me.
Then shall mine enemies turn back in the day that I call: This I know, that God is for me.
Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call; This I know, that God is for me.
Then shall my enemies turn back in the day that I cry out; this I know, for God is for me.

Then my enemies will retreat when I cry out. I know this because God is mine.
You have kept count of my wanderings; store my tears in your water-skin — aren’t they already recorded in your book?
When I pray, Lord God, my enemies will retreat, because I know for certain that you are with me.
Then shall mine enemies return backward in the day when I call: this I know, for God is for me.
Arise, O my glory, arise psaltery and harp: I will arise early.
I know that when l call for help, my enemies will turn and run. I know that because God is with me!
When I call to you for help, my enemies will turn back. I am sure of this: God is with me, to fight for me.
Then my enemies will turn back on the day when I call. This is how I will know that God is for me.
Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me.
Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me.
On the day I call for help, my enemies will ·be defeated [L turn back]. I know that God is on my side.

My wanderings you have noted; are my tears not stored in your flask, recorded in your book?
Then my enemies will turn back on the day when I call; This I know, that God is for me.
