Yet they tested and provoked the Most High God and kept not His testimonies,
Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God, And kept not his testimonies;

But they rebelliously tested the Most High God, for they did not keep his decrees.
But they tested and defied the Most High God; they didn’t pay attention to his warnings.
Yet they tested El ‘Elyon and rebelled against him, refusing to obey his instructions.
But the people tested God Most High, and they refused to obey his laws.
But they tempted and provoked God, the Most High, and kept not his testimonies,
But they tested God Most High and made him very sad. They didn’t obey his commands.
But the Israelites continued to test the Most High God, and they turned against him. They did not obey his commands.
But they tested him. They rebelled against God Most High, and they did not keep his testimonies.
Yet they tested and rebelled against the Most High God and did not keep his testimonies,
Yet they tested and rebelled against the Most High God and did not keep his testimonies,
But they tested God and ·turned [rebelled] against God Most High; they did not ·keep [observe; guard] his ·rules [decrees; testimonies].
Yet they tempted, and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies,
They tested God Most High and rebelled against him. They did not obey his written instructions.
But they rebelled against Almighty God and put him to the test. They did not obey his commandments,
But they rebelliously tested the Most High God, for they did not keep His decrees.
But they tested God and turned against the Most High. They did not keep his rules.
But they tested the Most High God by rebelling against him, and they did not obey his statutes.
Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God and did not keep his testimonies:

Yet though he did all this for them, they still rebelled against the God above all gods and refused to follow his commands.
But they kept on giving him a hard time, rebelled against God, the High God, refused to do anything he told them. They were worse, if that’s possible, than their parents: traitors—crooked as a corkscrew. Their pagan orgies provoked God’s anger, their obscene idolatries broke his heart. When God heard their carryings-on, he was furious; he posted a huge No over Israel. He walked off and left Shiloh empty, abandoned the shrine where he had met with Israel. He let his pride and joy go to the dogs, turned his back on the pride of his life. He turned them loose on fields of battle; angry, he let them fend for themselves. Their young men went to war and never came back; their young women waited in vain. Their priests were massacred, and their widows never shed a tear.
Yet they tested and provoked the Most High God, and did not keep His commands,
They tested Elohim Elyon and rebelled against him. They did not obey his written instructions.
But they tested and rebelled against God Most High, his decrees they did not observe.
Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God And did not keep His testimonies,
Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God And did not keep His testimonies,
Even so, they put God to the test and rebelled against the Most High, refusing to observe his decrees.
But they tested God and turned against God Most High; they did not keep his rules.
Yet they challenged and defied God Most High, and did not obey his commands.
But they tested God. They refused to obey the Most High God. They didn’t keep his laws.
But they put God to the test and rebelled against the Most High; they did not keep his statutes.
But they put God to the test and rebelled against the Most High; they did not keep his statutes.
Yet they tested and provoked the Most High God, And did not keep His testimonies,
But they tempted and went against the Most High God. They did not keep His Law.
But they kept testing and rebelling against God Most High. They did not obey his laws.
Yet they tested the Most High God, and rebelled against him. They did not observe his decrees,
Yet they tested the Most High God, and rebelled against him. They did not observe his decrees,
Yet they tested the Most High God, and rebelled against him. They did not observe his decrees,
Yet they tested the Most High God and rebelled against him. They did not observe his decrees
Yet they tested and provoked Elohim Elyon, and were not shomer over His edot;
Yet they tested and rebelled against the Most High God, and did not observe his testimonies,
Yet they tested and rebelled against the Most High God, and did not observe his testimonies,
Yet they tested and rebelled against El Elyon, and did not keep His decrees.
Even after all this, they disobeyed the Most High God and tested His patience and did not live by His commands.
Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God, and didn’t keep his testimonies,
And they tempted, and wrathed the high God; and they kept not his witnessings. (And still they tempted, and angered, the Most High God; and they did not obey his teachings, or his commands.)
And they tempt and provoke God Most High, And His testimonies have not kept.
