Psalm 119:51
The proud have held me greatly in derision, yet have I not departed from Thy law.
The proud have had me greatly in derision: Yet have I not swerved from thy law.
The arrogant utterly ridicule me, Yet I do not turn away from Your law.
The proud have had me greatly in derision, yet have I not declined in my interest in or turned aside from Your law.
The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
The arrogant constantly ridicule me, but I do not turn away from your instruction.
The arrogant make fun of me to no end, but I haven’t deviated from your Instruction.
Though the arrogant scorn me completely, I have not turned away from your Torah.
Conceited people sneer at me, but I obey your Law.
The proud have derided me beyond measure: I have not declined from thy law.
People full of pride are always making fun of me, but I have not stopped following your teachings.
Proud people laugh at me all the time. But I do not turn away from your Law.
The arrogant mock me constantly, but I do not fall away from your law.
The insolent utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from your law.
The insolent utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from your law.
·Proud [Arrogant] people always ·make fun of [mock] me, but I do not ·reject [stray from] your ·teachings [instructions; laws].
The proud have had me exceedingly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy Law.
Arrogant people have mocked me with cruelty, yet I have not turned away from your teachings.
The proud are always scornful of me, but I have not departed from your law.

The arrogant utterly scoff at me, Yet I do not turn aside from Your law.
The arrogant utterly deride me; I have not turned aside from your law.
Proud men hold me in contempt for obedience to God, but I stand unmoved.
Remember what you said to me, your servant— I hang on to these words for dear life! These words hold me up in bad times; yes, your promises rejuvenate me. The haters hate me without mercy, but I don’t budge from your revelation. I watch for your ancient landmark words, and know I’m on the right track. But when I see the wicked ignore your directions, I’m beside myself with anger. I set your instructions to music and sing them as I walk this pilgrim way. I meditate on your name all night, God, treasuring your revelation, O God. Still, I walk through a rain of derision because I live by your Word and counsel. * * *

The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law.

The zedim (arrogant ones) have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Thy torah.
Godless men utterly deride me, but I do not turn away from thy law.

The arrogant have viciously ridiculed me, yet I did not turn away from Your Torah.
Those who are proud cruelly ridicule me, but I keep to the steady path of Your teachings.
The arrogant mock me excessively, but I don’t swerve from your law.
Proud men did wickedly (to me) by all things; but I bowed not away from thy law. (The proud and the boastful have scorned me in all things; but I have not turned away from thy Law.)
