Psalm 17:1
Hear the right, O Lord; attend unto my cry! Give ear unto my prayer, which goeth not out of feigned lips.
A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O Jehovah, attend unto my cry; Give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
A Prayer of David. Hear the just (righteous) cause, O Lord; listen to my loud [piercing] cry; Listen to my prayer, that comes from guileless lips.
Hear the right (my righteous cause), O Lord; listen to my shrill, piercing cry! Give ear to my prayer, that comes from unfeigned and guileless lips.
A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.

Listen to what’s right, Lord; pay attention to my cry! Listen closely to my prayer; it’s spoken by lips that don’t lie!

(A prayer by David.) I am innocent, Lord! Won't you listen as I pray and beg for help? I am honest! Please hear my prayer.

Unto the end, for David the servant of the Lord, who spoke to the Lord the words of this canticle, in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hands of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. [2 Kings 22.]
A prayer of David. Lord, hear my prayer for justice. I am calling loudly to you. I am being honest in what I say, so please listen to my prayer.
David wrote this prayer. Lord, please listen to me. I am asking you to do something that is right. I am speaking what is true, so please do what I ask you to do.
Hear my righteous plea, O Lord. Pay attention to my outcry. Turn your ear to my prayer, which is not offered by deceitful lips.

1 Here he complaineth to God of the cruel pride and arrogance of Saul, and the rest of his enemies, who thus raged without any cause given on his part. 6 Therefore he desireth God to revenge his innocence and deliver him. The prayer of David. Hear the right, O Lord, consider my cry: hearken unto my prayer of lips unfeigned.
