The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of Jehovah. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord. Transgression speaks [like an oracle] to the wicked (godless) [deep] within his heart; There is no fear (dread) of God before his eyes.
Transgression [like an oracle] speaks to the wicked deep in his heart. There is no fear or dread of God before his eyes.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
For the choir director. Of David, the Lord’s servant. An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked person: Dread of God has no effect on him.
I know the sinful utterance of the wicked: No fear of God confronts their own eyes,
For the leader. By David, the servant of Adonai:
(For the music leader by David, the Lord's servant.) Sinners don't respect God; sin is all they think about.
To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the servant of Jehovah; of David. The transgression of the wicked uttereth within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.
A psalm for David himself. Be not emulous of evildoers; nor envy them that work iniquity.
To the director: A song of David, the Lord’s servant. Deep in the hearts of the wicked a voice tells them to do wrong. They have no respect for God.
The Lord's servant, David, wrote this song for the music leader. A wicked person turns against God completely. He does not respect God.
For the choir director. By the servant of the Lord. By David. A declaration about the rebellion of the wicked is deep in my heart. There is no dread of God before his eyes,

1 The Prophet grievously vexed by the wicked, doth complain of their malicious wickedness. 6 Then he turneth to consider the unspeakable goodness of God toward all creatures. 9 But specially towards his children, that by the faith thereof he may be comforted and assured of his deliverance by this ordinary course of God’s work. 12 Who in the end destroyeth the wicked, and saveth the just. To him that excelleth. A Psalm of David, the servant of the Lord. Wickedness saith to the wicked man, even in mine heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
For the choir director; by David, the Lord’s servant. There is an inspired truth about the wicked person who has rebellion in the depths of his heart: He is not terrified of God.
Sin speaks to the wicked deep in their hearts; they reject God and do not have reverence for him.

To the Overcomer, A Psalm of David the slave of the LORD. ¶ The rebellion of the wicked saith to my heart that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

For the choir director. Of the servant of Yahweh, of David. Transgression declares to the ungodly within his heart; There is no dread of God before his eyes.
For the music director. Of David, the servant of Yahweh. An oracle: the wicked has rebellion in the midst of his heart. There is no fear of God before his eyes.
Sin lurks deep in the hearts of the wicked, forever urging them on to evil deeds. They have no fear of God to hold them back.
The God-rebel tunes in to sedition— all ears, eager to sin. He has no regard for God, he stands insolent before him. He has smooth-talked himself into believing That his evil will never be noticed. Words gutter from his mouth, dishwater dirty. Can’t remember when he did anything decent. Every time he goes to bed, he fathers another evil plot. When he’s loose on the streets, nobody’s safe. He plays with fire and doesn’t care who gets burned.
For the Music Director. A Psalm of David, the servant of the Lord. An oracle within my heart about the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Wrongdoing speaks to the ungodly within his heart; There is no fear of God before his eyes.
Transgression speaks to the ungodly within his heart; There is no fear of God before his eyes.

For the music director, an oracle, written by the Lord’s servant David. An evil man is rebellious to the core. He does not fear God,
For the director of music. A psalm of David, the servant of the Lord. I have a message from God in my heart. It is about the evil ways of anyone who sins. They don’t have any respect for God.

For the Chief Musician. By David, the servant of Yahweh. A revelation is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: “There is no fear of God before his eyes.”
To victory, to David, the servant of the Lord. The unjust man said, that he trespass in himself; the dread of God is not before his eyes. (To the victory of David, the servant of the Lord. The wicked man said, My sin, or my trespass, is my concern alone; and so the fear of God is not in his heart/and so reverence for God is not in his heart.)
