Nevertheless man, though he be in honor, abideth not; he is like the beasts that perish.
But man being in honor abideth not: He is like the beasts that perish.
But man, with all his [self] honor and pomp, will not endure; He is like the beasts that perish.
But man, with all his honor and pomp, does not remain; he is like the beasts that perish.
Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
But despite his assets, mankind will not last; he is like the animals that perish.
People won’t live any longer because of wealth; they’re just like the animals that pass away.
They think their homes will last forever, their dwellings through all generations; they give their own names to their estates.
Our human glory disappears, and, like animals, we die.
Nevertheless, man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
If I should be hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
People might be wealthy, but they cannot stay here forever. They will die like the animals.
but people do not live for ever, even if they are very rich. They will die, just like the animals.
But man, though he has riches, does not even spend a night here. He is like the animals that perish.
Man in his pomp will not remain; he is like the beasts that perish.
Man in his pomp will not remain; he is like the beasts that perish.
Even rich people do not ·live forever [abide]; like the animals, people ·die [perish; Eccl. 3:19].
But man shall not continue in honor; he is like the beasts that die.
But mortals will not continue here with what they treasure. They are like animals that die.
Our greatness cannot keep us from death; we will still die like the animals.
But despite his assets, man will not last; he is like the animals that perish.
Even rich people do not live forever. Like the animals, people die.
But humanity cannot last, despite its conceit; it will pass away just like the animals.
Nevertheless man will not abide forever in honour; he is like the beasts that are cut off.
Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
But man in his honor will not endure; He is like the animals that perish.
But man cannot continue in his pomp. He is like the beasts that perish.
But man with all his pomp must die like any animal.
We aren’t immortal. We don’t last long. Like our dogs, we age and weaken. And die.
But a man does not abide in honor; mankind is like the beasts that come to ruin.
But mortals will not continue here with what they treasure. They are like animals that die.
Their tombs are their homes forever, their dwellings through all generations, “They named countries after themselves”
But man in his splendor will not endure; He is like the animals that perish.
But man in his pomp will not endure; He is like the beasts that perish.
Their graves are their eternal homes, their dwelling places for all generations, even though they had named lands after themselves.
Even rich people do not live forever; like the animals, people die.
but, despite their wealth, people do not last. They are like animals that perish.
Even though people may be very rich, they don’t live on and on. They are like the animals. They die.
People, despite their wealth, do not endure; they are like the beasts that perish.
People, despite their wealth, do not endure; they are like the beasts that perish.
Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain; He is like the beasts that perish.
But man with all his honor does not last. He is like the animals that die.
but their fame will not last. They will die, just like animals.
Mortals cannot abide in their pomp; they are like the animals that perish.
Mortals cannot abide in their pomp; they are like the animals that perish.
Mortals cannot abide in their pomp; they are like the animals that perish.
Mortals cannot abide in their pomp; they are like the animals that perish.
Nevertheless adam in his pomp endureth not; he is like the behemot (beasts) that perish.
Man cannot abide in his pomp, he is like the beasts that perish.
Man cannot abide in his pomp, he is like the beasts that perish.
Their inward thought is: Their houses are eternal, their dwellings for generation after generation. They name their lands after themselves.
[No one, regardless of how rich or important, can live forever; he is] just like the animals that perish and decay.
But man, despite his riches, doesn’t endure. He is like the animals that perish.
A man/Man, when he was in honour, understood not; he is comparisoned to unwise beasts, and is made like to those. (For anyone, even when he hath been given great honour, liveth not forever; he is comparable to the unthinking beasts, and soon is made like them.)
And man in honour doth not remain, He hath been like the beasts, they have been cut off.
