Psalm 62:9
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie; if weighed in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: In the balances they will go up; They are together lighter than vanity.
Men of low degree are only a breath (emptiness), and men of [high] rank are a lie (delusion). In the balances they go up [because they have no measurable weight or value]; They are together lighter than a breath.
Men of low degree [in the social scale] are emptiness (futility, a breath) and men of high degree [in the same scale] are a lie and a delusion. In the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
Common people are only a vapor; important people, an illusion. Together on a scale, they weigh less than a vapor.
Human beings are nothing but a breath. Human beings are nothing but lies. They don’t even register on a scale; taken all together they are lighter than a breath!
Trust in him, people, at all times; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
We humans are only a breath; none of us are truly great. All of us together weigh less than a puff of air.
Men of low degree are only vanity; men of high degree, a lie: laid in the balance, they go up together [lighter] than vanity.
My soul hath stuck close to thee: thy right hand hath received me.
People cannot really help. You cannot depend on them. Compared to God, they are nothing— no more than a gentle puff of air!
People are only as light as a breath! Whoever they are, they are not important. If you try to weigh them, all together, they weigh less than a breath of air.
Yes, the sons of Adam are only a breath. The sons of man are a delusion. On a scale they weigh nothing. They are nothing but air.
Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.

The least of people are only a ·breath [vapor; bubble; vanity], and even the greatest are just a ·lie [delusion]. On the scales, they ·weigh nothing [L go up]; together they are only a ·breath [vapor; bubble; vanity].
Yet the children of men are vanity, the chief men are liars: to lay them upon a balance they are altogether lighter than vanity.
Common people are only a whisper in the wind. Important people are only a delusion. When all of them are weighed on a scale, they amount to nothing. They are less than a whisper in the wind.
Human beings are all like a puff of breath; great and small alike are worthless. Put them on the scales, and they weigh nothing; they are lighter than a mere breath.
Men are only a vapor; exalted men, an illusion. Weighed in the scales, they go up; together they are less than a vapor.
People are only a breath. Even the greatest men are just a lie. On the scales, they weigh nothing. Together they are only a breath.
Human beings are a mere vapor, while people in high positions are not what they appear. When they are placed on the scales, they weigh nothing; even when weighed together, they are less than nothing.
Surely the sons of Adam are vanity, and the sons of nobles are a lie; to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

The greatest of men or the lowest—both alike are nothing in his sight. They weigh less than air on scales.
Man as such is smoke, woman as such, a mirage. Put them together, they’re nothing; two times nothing is nothing.
Surely people of low degree are a breath, and men of high degree are a lie; if they are placed in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vapor.

Common people are as worthless as a puff of wind, and the powerful are not what they appear to be. If you weigh them on the scales, together they are lighter than a breath of air.
Those of low estate are but a breath, those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.

Human beings disappear like a breath; even people of rank live artificial lives. Their weight is that of a breath in a balance—nothing. Added together, they’re still lighter than air.
Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
Nevertheless the sons of men be (all in) vain; the sons of men be liars in balances, that they deceive of vanity into the same thing. (Nevertheless the lives of the sons and daughters of men be but a puff of air; yea, the sons and daughters of men all be liars, and if you put them on a balance, their lives shall be lighter than a breath, or a puff of air.)
Only -- vanity [are] the low, a lie the high. In balances to go up they than vanity [are] lighter.
