“I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached My people, and magnified themselves against their border.
I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, wherewith they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
“I have heard the taunting of Moab And the revilings of the sons of Ammon, With which they have taunted My people And become arrogant against their territory [by violating Israel’s boundary and trying to seize its land].
I have heard the taunts of Moab and the revilings of the Ammonites by which they have reproached My people, and magnified themselves and made boasts against their territory.
¶ I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
I have heard the taunting of Moab and the insults of the Ammonites, who have taunted my people and threatened their territory.
I have heard the taunting of Moab and the defamation of the Ammonites; they taunted my people and enlarged their borders.
“I have heard the insults of Mo’av and the taunts of the people of ‘Amon, how they reviled my people and boasted of expanding their territory.
The Lord All-Powerful, the God of Israel, said: I've heard Moab and Ammon insult my people and threaten their nation.
I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, wherewith they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the blasphemies of the children of Ammon, with which they reproached my people, and have magnified themselves upon their borders.
The Lord says, “I know what the people of Moab and Ammon did. They embarrassed my people. They took their land to make their own countries larger.
The Lord of all his armies says, ‘I have heard the cruel people in the countries called Moab and Ammon. They laugh about you and they say cruel things about you, my people. They have thought that they were greater than you. They have come against you.’
I have heard the taunts from Moab and the insults from the Ammonites as they have taunted my people and made proud claims against their territory.
“I have heard the taunts of Moab and the revilings of the Ammonites, how they have taunted my people and made boasts against their territory.

“I have heard the ·insults [taunts] of Moab[C the country] and the ·threats [insults; reproach] of the ·people [L sons/descendants] of Ammon. They have ·insulted [taunted] my people and ·have taken [or harrassed; threatened; or boasted about] their ·land [borders].”
I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the rebukes of the children of Ammon, whereby they upbraided my people, and magnified themselves against their borders.
“I have heard the insults from Moab and the mockery from Ammon. They insulted my people and bragged about their territory.
The Lord Almighty says, “I have heard the people of Moab and Ammon insulting and taunting my people, and boasting that they would seize their land.
I have heard the taunting of Moab and the insults of the Ammonites, who have taunted My people and threatened their territory.
“I heard the country of Moab insult my people. The country of Ammon threatened to take their land.”
“I’ve heard Moab’s insults and the curses from those Ammonites by which they defame my people and boast about their territory.
¶ I have heard the reproaches of Moab, and the revilings of the sons of Ammon, by which they have dishonoured my people and magnified themselves over their border.
I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
“I have heard the reproach of Moab And the revilings of the sons of Ammon, With which they have reproached My people And magnified themselves against their territory.
I have heard the reproaches of Moab and the scorning of the Ammonites, with which they have taunted my nation and made boasts against their territory.
“I have heard the taunts of the people of Moab and Ammon, mocking my people and invading their land.
“I’ve heard the crude taunts of Moab, the mockeries flung by Ammon, The cruel talk they’ve used to put down my people, their self-important strutting along Israel’s borders. Therefore, as sure as I am the living God,” says God-of-the-Angel-Armies, Israel’s personal God, “Moab will become a ruin like Sodom, Ammon a ghost town like Gomorrah, One a field of rocks, the other a sterile salt flat, a moonscape forever. What’s left of my people will finish them off, will pick them clean and take over. This is what they get for their bloated pride, their taunts and mockeries of the people of God-of-the-Angel-Armies. God will be seen as truly terrible—a Holy Terror. All earth-made gods will shrivel up and blow away; And everyone, wherever they are, far or near, will fall to the ground and worship him. Also you Ethiopians, you, too, will die—I’ll see to it.” * * *

I have heard the taunts of Moab and the jeers of the children of Ammon, who taunted My people and expanded on their border.
Eternal One: As for Moab and Ammon off to the east, I have heard them taunting and mocking My people. I know they have expanded their borders into Judah’s land.
I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the insults of the children of Ammon, with which they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
I heard the shame of Moab, and blasphemies of the sons of Ammon, which they said shamefully to my people, and they were magnified on the terms of them. (I heard the insults of Moab, and the taunts of the Ammonites, which they shamefully said to my people, as they encroached upon their land.)
I have heard the reproach of Moab, And the revilings of the sons of Ammon, Wherewith they reproached My people, And magnify [themselves] against their border.
