  1. And the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes
  2. After Moses had gone down the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes.
  3. Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water.
  4. Cut the ram into pieces and wash the internal organs and the legs, putting them with the head and the other pieces.
  5. Basin for Washing

    Then the Lord said to Moses,
  6. “Make a bronze basin, with its bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
  7. Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it.
  8. Whenever they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting a food offering to the Lord,
  9. they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.”
  10. The Basin for Washing

    They made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
  11. “Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water.
  12. He placed the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing,
  13. and Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet.
  14. They washed whenever they entered the tent of meeting or approached the altar, as the Lord commanded Moses.
