2 (A)You know that when you were pagans, you were (B)being led astray to the (C)mute idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking [a](D)by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is [b](E)accursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is (F)Lord,” except [c](G)by the Holy Spirit.
4 Now there are (H)varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.

2 You know that when you were pagans,(A) somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols.(B) 3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,”(C) and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,”(D) except by the Holy Spirit.(E)
4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit(F) distributes them.
