¹³ The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers,^(A) has glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you handed over and denied in the presence of Pilate,^(B) when he had decided to release Him.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go! For this man is My chosen instrument^(A) to take My name to Gentiles,^(B) kings, and the Israelites.^(C)

¹⁶ But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness of what you have seen^[a] and of what I will reveal to you.^(A)
