²⁵ Then he ^(A)cried out to Yahweh, and Yahweh showed him ^(B)a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet.

There He ^(C)set for them a statute and a judgment, and there He ^(D)tested them.

²¹ And he went out to the spring of water and ^(A)threw salt ^[a]in it and said, “Thus says Yahweh, ‘I have ^[b]purified these waters; there shall not be from there death or barrenness any longer.’”

⁴¹ But he said, “Now bring flour.” ^(A)He threw it into the pot and said, “Pour it out for the people that they may eat.” Then there was no harm in the pot.
