10 While Ezra prayed and confessed, weeping and falling facedown^(A) before the house of God, an extremely large assembly of Israelite men, women, and children gathered around him. The people also wept bitterly.^(B)

³ So I turned my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and petitions, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.^(A)

³⁷ and was a widow for 84 years.^[a] She did not leave the temple complex, serving God night and day with fasting and prayers.^(A)

³ Then after they had fasted, prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them off.^(A)
