Isaiah 25:9-11
Legacy Standard Bible
9 And it will be said in that day,
“Behold, (A)this is our God in whom we have (B)hoped that (C)He would save us.
This is Yahweh in whom we have hoped;
(D)Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
10 For the hand of Yahweh will rest on this mountain,
And (E)Moab will be trodden down in his place
As straw is trodden down in the water of a manure pile.
11 And he will (F)spread out his hands in the middle of it
As a swimmer spreads out his hands to swim,
But Yahweh will (G)lay low his lofty pride together with the trickery of his hands.
Isaiah 25:9-11
New International Version
9 In that day(A) they will say,
“Surely this is our God;(B)
we trusted(C) in him, and he saved(D) us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in him;
let us rejoice(E) and be glad in his salvation.”(F)
10 The hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain;(G)
but Moab(H) will be trampled in their land
as straw is trampled down in the manure.
11 They will stretch out their hands in it,
as swimmers stretch out their hands to swim.
God will bring down(I) their pride(J)
despite the cleverness[a] of their hands.
