3 (A)because of their wickedness which they committed so as to (B)provoke Me to anger by continuing to (C)burn [a]sacrifices and to (D)serve other gods whom they had not known, neither they, you, nor your fathers. 4 Yet I (E)sent you all My servants the prophets, [b]again and again, saying, “Oh, do not do this (F)abominable thing which I hate.” 5 But (G)they did not listen or incline their ears to turn from their wickedness, so as not to burn [c]sacrifices to other gods.

3 because of the evil(A) they have done. They aroused my anger(B) by burning incense(C) to and worshiping other gods(D) that neither they nor you nor your ancestors(E) ever knew. 4 Again and again(F) I sent my servants the prophets,(G) who said, ‘Do not do this detestable(H) thing that I hate!’ 5 But they did not listen or pay attention;(I) they did not turn from their wickedness(J) or stop burning incense(K) to other gods.(L)
