¹⁸ For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “As My ^(A)anger and wrath have gushed out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so My wrath will gush out on you when you enter Egypt. And you will become a ^(B)curse, an object of horror, ^[a]an imprecation, and a disgrace; and ^(C)you will not see this place again.”

¹⁴ Moreover, I will make you a site of ruins and a ^(A)disgrace among the nations that surround you, in the sight of everyone who passes by. ¹⁵ So ^[a]it will be a disgrace, an object of abuse, a ^(B)warning, and an object of horror to the nations that surround you when I ^(C)execute judgments against you in anger, wrath, and raging reprimands.
