22 There were no Anakim left in the land of the sons of Israel; only in Gaza, in (A)Gath, and in (B)Ashdod some remained. 23 So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that Yahweh had spoken to Moses, and (C)Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. (D)Thus the land was quiet from war.

22 No Anakites were left in Israelite territory; only in Gaza,(A) Gath(B) and Ashdod(C) did any survive.
23 So Joshua took the entire land,(D) just as the Lord had directed Moses, and he gave it as an inheritance(E) to Israel according to their tribal divisions.(F) Then the land had rest(G) from war.(H)
