²² none of the men who have seen my glory and the signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tested me these ten times and did not obey me,

⁴⁵ “All these curses will come, pursue, and overtake you until you are destroyed, since you did not obey the Lord your God and keep the commands and statutes he gave you.

⁶² Though you were as numerous as the stars of the sky, you will be left with only a few people, because you did not obey the Lord your God.

⁶ For the Israelites wandered in the wilderness forty years until all the nation’s men of war who came out of Egypt had died off because they did not obey the Lord.^(A) So the Lord vowed never to let them see the land he had sworn to their ancestors to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.^(B)

¹⁰ I said to you: I am the Lord your God. Do not fear the gods of the Amorites whose land you live in.^(A) But you did not obey me.’”

¹² because they did not listen to the Lord their God but violated his covenant—all he had commanded Moses the servant of the Lord. They did not listen, and they did not obey.^(A)

¹³ The Lord said, “It is because they abandoned my instruction,^(A) which I set before them, and did not obey my voice or walk according to it.
