‘Keep on ^(A)listening, but do not understand;
And keep on looking, but do not gain knowledge.’
^10 (B)Make the hearts of this people ^[a](C)insensitive,
Their ears ^[b]dull,
And their eyes ^[c]blind,
^(D)So that they will not see with their eyes,
Hear with their ears,
Understand with their hearts,
And return and be healed.”

⁶ Therefore it will be ^(A)night for you—without vision,
And darkness for you—without divination.
The ^(B)sun will go down on the prophets,
And the day will become dark over them.

“^(A)God gave them a spirit of stupor,
Eyes to see not and ears to hear not,
Down to this very day.”
