And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbor in the word of the Lord, “Smite me, I pray thee.” And the man refused to smite him.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his fellow by the word of Jehovah, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
Now a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to another by the word of the Lord, “Please strike me.” But the man refused to strike him.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his neighbor, At the command of the Lord, strike me, I pray you. And the man refused to strike him.
¶ And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the Lord, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
One of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow prophet by the word of the Lord, “Strike me!” But the man refused to strike him.
At the Lord’s command a certain man who belonged to a prophetic group said to his friend: “Please strike me.” But his friend refused to hit him.
One of the members of the prophets’ guild said to another one, by the word of Adonai, “Hit me!” But the man refused to hit him.
About this time the Lord commanded a prophet to say to a friend, “Hit me!” But the friend refused,
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to another by the word of Jehovah, Smite me, I pray thee. But the man refused to smite him.
Then a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his companion in the word of the Lord: Strike me. But he would not strike.
One of the prophets told another prophet, “Hit me!” He said that because the Lord had commanded it. But the other prophet refused to hit him.
At this time, the Lord gave a message to a prophet who belonged to a group of prophets. He told the prophet to say to one of his friends, ‘Hit me with your stick.’ But his friend refused to do it.
Then by the word of the Lord one of the sons of the prophets said to his neighbor, “Strike me, please.” But the man refused to strike him.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow at the command of the Lord, “Strike me, please.” But the man refused to strike him.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow at the command of the Lord, “Strike me, please.” But the man refused to strike him.
One ·prophet from one of the groups of prophets [L of the sons of the prophets] told another, “Hit me!” He said this ·because the Lord had commanded it [by the word of the Lord], but the other man refused.
¶ Then a certain man of the children of the Prophets said unto his neighbor by the commandment of the Lord, Smite me, I pray thee. But the man refused to smite him.
A disciple of the prophets spoke to a friend as the Lord’s word had told him. ⌞The disciple said,⌟ “Punch me,” but the man refused to punch him.
At the Lord's command a member of a group of prophets ordered a fellow prophet to hit him. But he refused,
One of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow prophet by the word of the Lord, “Strike me!” But the man refused to strike him.
One of the prophets told another prophet, “Hit me!” He told him to do this because the Lord had commanded it. But the other prophet refused.
Right about then, one of the members of the guild of prophets told another through a message from the Lord: “Please strike me!” But the man refused to do so,
Then a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour by the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the Lord, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the Lord, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
Now a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to another by the word of Yahweh, “Please strike me.” But the man refused to strike him.
A certain man from the sons of the prophets said to his fellow countryman, “By the word of Yahweh, please strike me.” But the man refused to strike him.
Meanwhile, the Lord instructed one of the prophets to say to another man, “Strike me with your sword!” But the man refused.
A man who was one of the prophets said to a bystander, “Hit me; wound me. Do it for God’s sake—it’s his command. Hit me; wound me.” But the man wouldn’t do it.
Speaking in the word of the Lord, a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his neighbor, “Strike me, please.” But the man refused to strike him.
A disciple of the prophets spoke to a friend as the word of Yahweh had told him. The disciple said, “Punch me,” but the man refused to punch him.
Acting on the word of the Lord, one of the guild prophets said to his companion, “Strike me.” But he refused to strike him.
Now a man from the sons of the prophets said to another by the word of the Lord, “Please strike me.” But the man refused to strike him.
Now a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to another by the word of the Lord, “Please strike me.” But the man refused to strike him.
One of the sons of the prophets, inspired by the word of the Lord, said to his companion, “Please strike me,” but the man refused to strike him.
One prophet from one of the groups of prophets told another, “Hit me!” He said this because the Lord had commanded it, but the other man refused.
One of the members of the prophetic guild told his companion a message from the Lord, “Please wound me!” But the man refused to wound him.
There was a group of people called the group of the prophets. A message from the Lord came to one of their members. He said to his companion, “Strike me down with your weapon.” But he wouldn’t do it.
By the word of the Lord one of the company of the prophets said to his companion, “Strike me with your weapon,” but he refused.
By the word of the Lord one of the company of the prophets said to his companion, ‘Strike me with your weapon,’ but he refused.
Now a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his neighbor by the word of the Lord, “Strike me, please.” And the man refused to strike him.
Now a certain son of the men who spoke for God said to another by the word of the Lord, “Hit me.” But the man would not hit him.
Meanwhile, the Lord instructed one of the group of prophets to say to another man, “Hit me!” But the man refused to hit the prophet.
At the command of the Lord a certain member of a company of prophets said to another, ‘Strike me!’ But the man refused to strike him.

At the command of the Lord a certain member of a company of prophets said to another, “Strike me!” But the man refused to strike him.
At the command of the Lord a certain member of a company of prophets said to another, “Strike me!” But the man refused to strike him.
And a certain man of the Bnei HaNevi’im said unto his re’a (neighbor) in the Devar Hashem, Strike me, now. The ish refused to strike him.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow at the command of the Lord, “Strike me, I pray.” But the man refused to strike him.
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow at the command of the Lord, “Strike me, I pray.” But the man refused to strike him.
Now a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow by the word of Adonai, “Strike me please!” But the man refused to strike him.
By the word of the Eternal, one of the prophets’ sons made a request to another man. Prophet’s Son: Hit me. Man: No.
A certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow by Yahweh’s word, “Please strike me!” The man refused to strike him.
Then a man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow, in the word of the Lord (by the word of the Lord), Smite thou me. And he would not smite (him).
And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour by the word of Jehovah, `Smite me, I pray thee;' and the man refuseth to smite him,
