2 Timothy 2:16

But shun profane and vain babblings, for they will increase unto more ungodliness,
But shun profane babblings: for they will proceed further in ungodliness,
But avoid all irreverent babble and godless chatter [with its profane, empty words], for it will lead to further ungodliness,
But avoid all empty (vain, useless, idle) talk, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
Avoid irreverent and empty speech, since those who engage in it will produce even more godlessness,
Avoid their godless discussions, because they will lead many people into ungodly behavior,
But keep away from godless babbling, for those who engage in it will only become more ungodly,
Keep away from worthless and useless talk. It only leads people farther away from God.
But profane, vain babblings shun, for they will advance to greater impiety,
But be shunning the profane empty-chatterings. For they will advance further in ungodliness,
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they grow much towards ungodliness.
Stay away from people who talk about useless things that are not from God. That kind of talk will lead a person more and more against God.
But stay away from people who talk about silly things that are not important to God. A message like that causes people to live more and more in a way that does not please God.
As for pointless chatter, avoid it, for it will lead to an ever greater measure of godlessness,
But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness,
But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness,
Stay away from ·foolish, useless talk [godless/irreverent chatter; 1 Tim. 1:3–4; 4:7; 6:20], because that will lead people ·further away from God [into even more ungodliness].
Stay profane, and vain babblings: for they shall increase unto more ungodliness.
Avoid pointless discussions. People who ⌞pay attention to these pointless discussions⌟ will become more ungodly,
Keep away from profane and foolish discussions, which only drive people farther away from God.
But avoid irreverent, empty speech, for this will produce an even greater measure of godlessness.
Stay away from those who talk about useless worldly things. That kind of talk will lead a person more and more away from God.
However, avoid pointless discussions. For people will become more and more ungodly,
But steer clear of these unchristian babblings, which in practice lead further and further away from Christian living. False teachings are as dangerous as blood-poisoning to the body, and spread like sepsis from a wound. Hymenaeus and Philetus are responsible for this sort of thing, and they are men who are palpable traitors to the truth, for they say that the resurrection has already occurred and, of course, badly upset some people’s faith.
But avoid profane and vain wordiness, for it will develop into ungodliness.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
But avoid godless and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,
But avoid pointless chatter, for it will progress to greater ungodliness,
Steer clear of foolish discussions that lead people into the sin of anger with each other.
Repeat these basic essentials over and over to God’s people. Warn them before God against pious nitpicking, which chips away at the faith. It just wears everyone out. Concentrate on doing your best for God, work you won’t be ashamed of, laying out the truth plain and simple. Stay clear of pious talk that is only talk. Words are not mere words, you know. If they’re not backed by a godly life, they accumulate as poison in the soul. Hymenaeus and Philetus are examples, throwing believers off stride and missing the truth by a mile by saying the resurrection is over and done with.
But avoid profane foolish babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness,
But shun the unholy chatter, for they will advance into greater ungodliness
Avoid pointless discussions. People who pay attention to these pointless discussions will become more ungodly,
Avoid profane, idle talk, for such people will become more and more godless,
But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,
But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,
Avoid idle and worldly chatter, for those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly,
Stay away from foolish, useless talk, because that will lead people further away from God.
But avoid profane chatter, because those occupied with it will stray further and further into ungodliness,
Stay away from godless chatter. Those who take part in it will become more and more ungodly.
Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.
Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.
But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
Do not listen to foolish talk about things that mean nothing. It only leads people farther away from God.
Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior.
Unspiritual and vain voices pass over. For they will increase to greater ungodliness,
Avoid profane chatter, for it will lead people into more and more impiety,
Avoid profane chatter, for it will lead people into more and more impiety,
Avoid profane chatter, for it will lead people into more and more impiety,
Avoid profane chatter, for it will lead people into more and more impiety,
Avoid pointless and empty chatter. It will push people further and further towards ungodliness,
But profane chatter bereft of kedushah, avoid, for such will advance that which is frai (irreligious).
But stay away from godless and empty babblings. For they shall increase to more ungodliness.
Avoid such godless chatter, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness,
Avoid such godless chatter, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness,
But avoid godless chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness
Stay away from ungodly babbling because it will only lead deeper into a godless lifestyle.
But shun empty chatter, for it will go further in ungodliness,
Have no part in foolish talk that does not come from God. That kind of talk will take people farther and farther away from God.
But eschew thou unholy and vain speeches, for why those profit much to unfaithfulness, [Forsooth shun thou unholy and vain speeches, soothly they profit much to unpiety,]
and the profane vain talkings stand aloof from, for to more impiety they will advance,
