that he that escapeth on that day shall come unto thee to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?

that on that day a survivor will come to you to let you hear [of the destruction of Jerusalem] with your [own] ears.
On that day an escaped fugitive shall come to you to cause you to hear of it [the destruction of Jerusalem] with your own ears.
That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?
On that day a fugitive will come to you and report the news.
on that day, a refugee will come to you so that you yourself will hear the news.
on that day a fugitive will come and bring you the news;
On that same day, someone will escape from the city and come to tell you what has happened.
that in that day he that escapeth shall come unto thee, to cause [thine] ears to hear [it]?
In that day when he that escapeth shall come to thee, to tell thee:
The Lord said, “Son of man, I will take away the place that makes the people feel safe—Jerusalem, that beautiful city that makes them so happy. They really love that place. They love to look at it. But I will take it away from them, and I will also take their children. On that day one of the survivors will come to you with the bad news about Jerusalem.
On the day when that happens, a man will run away from the battle in Jerusalem. He will come here to tell you the news.
on that day a survivor will come to you to let you hear it with your own ears.
on that day a fugitive will come to you to report to you the news.

on that day a refugee from Jerusalem will start on a journey to come to you in Babylon to tell you what has happened.
“And you, son of man: The day I take away the people’s refuge, their great joy, the delight of their life, what they’ve most longed for, along with all their children—on that very day a survivor will arrive and tell you what happened to the city. You’ll break your silence and start talking again, talking to the survivor. Again, you’ll be an example for them. And they’ll recognize that I am God.”
