And they made life bitter and a grief of mind and spirit for Isaac and Rebekah [their parents-in-law].

They made life very difficult for Isaac and Rebekah.
But they became a cause for embitterment of spirit to Yitz’chak and Rivkah.
But these two women brought a lot of grief to Esau's parents Isaac and Rebekah.

And they both offended the mind of Isaac and Rebecca.
These marriages made Isaac and Rebekah very unhappy.
Esau's wives brought a lot of trouble to Isaac and Rebekah.
They were a source of bitterness for Isaac and Rebekah.
and they made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah.
and they made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah.
These women brought much ·sorrow [bitterness] to Isaac and Rebekah [C because Esau had married outside the people of God].
And they were a grief of mind to Isaac and to Rebekah.
These women brought Isaac and Rebekah a lot of grief.
They made life miserable for Isaac and Rebecca.
They made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah.
These women brought much sorrow to Isaac and Rebekah.
This brought extreme grief to Isaac and Rebekah.
Who were bitterness of spirit unto Isaac and to Rebekah.

and they brought bitterness to Isaac and Rebekah.
And they made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah.
But Isaac and Rebekah were bitter about his marrying them.
When Esau was forty years old he married Judith, daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Basemath, daughter of Elon the Hittite. They turned out to be thorns in the sides of Isaac and Rebekah. * * *
and they brought grief to Isaac and to Rebekah.
These women brought Isaac and Rebekah a lot of grief.
But they became a source of bitterness to Isaac and Rebekah.

and they were a morat ruach (grief of mind) unto Yitzchak and Rivkah.
and they made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah.

But they caused a bitterness of spirit for Isaac and Rebekah.
They would make life miserable for Isaac and Rebekah.
They grieved Isaac’s and Rebekah’s spirits.
which both offended the soul of Isaac and of Rebecca. (and because both women were heathen, that offended, or greatly distressed, Isaac and Rebecca.)
and they are a bitterness of spirit to Isaac and to Rebekah.
