For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off—
For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scoffer ceaseth, and all they that watch for iniquity are cut off;
For the tyrant will come to an end and the scorner will be finished, Indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be cut off—
For the terrible one [the Assyrian enemy] shall come to nought, and the scoffer shall cease, and all those who watch for iniquity [as an occasion for accusation] shall be cut off—
For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
For the ruthless one will vanish, the scorner will disappear, and all those who lie in wait with evil intent will be killed—
The tyrant will be no more, the mocker will perish, and all who plot evil will be eliminated:
for the tyrant is now nothing, the scoffer is finished, and all alert to do evil are cut off —
All who are cruel and arrogant will be gone forever. Those who live by crime will disappear,
For the terrible one shall come to nought, and the scorner shall be no more, and all that watch for iniquity shall be cut off,
For he that did prevail hath failed, the scorner is consumed, and they are all cut off that watched for iniquity:
This will happen when the people who are mean and cruel have come to an end. It will happen when those who enjoy doing bad things are gone.
Cruel people will disappear. Proud people who insult others will no longer be there. There will be no more people who love to do evil things.
But the ruthless will come to nothing. Those who mock will be no more, and all those who plan evil will be cut off—
For the ruthless shall come to nothing and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off,
For the ruthless shall come to nothing and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off,
Then the ·people without mercy [ruthless; tyrants] will come to an end; ·those who do not respect God [the scoffer/mocker/arrogant] will disappear. Those who ·enjoy [are intent on; have an eye for] doing evil will be ·gone [cut off/down]:
For the cruel man shall cease, and the scornful shall be consumed: and all that hasted to iniquity, shall be cut off:
Tyrants will be gone. Mockers will be finished. All who look for ways to do wrong will come to an end:
It will be the end of those who oppress others and show contempt for God. Every sinner will be destroyed.
For the ruthless one will vanish, the scorner will disappear, and all those who lie in wait with evil intent will be killed—
Then the people without mercy will come to an end. Those who do not respect God will disappear. Those who enjoy doing evil will be gone.
For the ruthless will vanish, and mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down—
For the violent one shall be done away with, and the scorner shall be consumed, and all those that rose early unto iniquity shall be cut off:
For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

For the ruthless will come to an end and the scoffer will be finished, Indeed all who are watching out to do evil will be cut off;
For the tyrant shall be no more, and the scoffer shall come to an end. And all those lying in wait for evil shall be cut off;
Bullies will vanish and scoffers will cease, and all those plotting evil will be killed—
And then before you know it, and without you having anything to do with it, Wasted Lebanon will be transformed into lush gardens, and Mount Carmel reforested. At that time the deaf will hear word-for-word what’s been written. After a lifetime in the dark, the blind will see. The castoffs of society will be laughing and dancing in God, the down-and-outs shouting praise to The Holy of Israel. For there’ll be no more gangs on the street. Cynical scoffers will be an extinct species. Those who never missed a chance to hurt or demean will never be heard of again: Gone the people who corrupted the courts, gone the people who cheated the poor, gone the people who victimized the innocent.
For the ruthless shall come to nothing, and the scorner will be consumed, and all who are intent on doing iniquity shall be cut off—
Tyrants will be gone. Mockers will be finished. All who look for ways to do wrong will come to an end:
For the tyrant shall be no more, the scoffer shall cease to be; All who are ready for evil shall be cut off,
For the ruthless will come to an end and the scorner will be finished, Indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be eliminated,

For the tyrants will be no more and the arrogant will cease to exist; all those who revel in evil deeds will be destroyed:
Then the people without mercy will come to an end; those who do not respect God will disappear. Those who enjoy doing evil will be gone:
For tyrants will disappear, those who taunt will vanish, and all those who love to do wrong will be eliminated—
Those who don’t show any pity will vanish. Those who make fun of others will disappear. All those who look for ways to do what is evil will be cut off.
The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down—

For those who show no pity will come to an end. And those who laugh at the truth will be stopped. All who want to be sinful will be cut off.
The scoffer will be gone, the arrogant will disappear, and those who plot evil will be killed.
For the tyrant shall be no more, and the scoffer shall cease to be; all those alert to do evil shall be cut off—

For cruelty and mean-spiritedness will come to an end, and those who laugh dismissively will be silenced. All those who are determined to do evil will be cut down.
For the ruthless is brought to nothing, and the scoffer ceases, and all those who are alert to do evil are cut off—
For he that had the mastery, failed, and the scorner is ended, and all they be cut down that waked on wickedness; (For he who had the mastery, hath failed, and the mocker is ended, and all those who watch for wickedness shall be cut down;)
For ceased hath the terrible one, And consumed hath been the scorner, And cut off have been all watching for iniquity,
