James 1:23

For if any be a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror;
For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:
For if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror;
For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror;
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like someone looking at his own face in a mirror.
Those who hear but don’t do the word are like those who look at their faces in a mirror.
For whoever hears the Word but doesn’t do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror,
If you hear the message and don't obey it, you are like people who stare at themselves in a mirror
For if any man be a hearer of [the] word and not a doer, *he* is like to a man considering his natural face in a mirror:
Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, this one is like a man considering the face of his birth in a mirror.
For if a man be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he shall be compared to a man beholding his own countenance in a glass.
Hearing God’s teaching and doing nothing is like looking at your face in the mirror
You must obey God's message. Do not be like a man who quickly looks at his face in a mirror.
In fact, if anyone hears the word and does not do what it says, he is like a man who carefully looks at his own natural face in a mirror.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.
Those who hear God’s ·teaching [word] and do nothing are like people who look at ·themselves [their natural face; L the face of their birth] in a mirror.
For if any hear the word, and do it not, he is like unto a man, that beholdeth his natural face in a glass.
If someone listens to God’s word but doesn’t do what it says, he is like a person who looks at his face in a mirror,
If you listen to the word, but do not put it into practice you are like people who look in a mirror and see themselves as they are.
Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his own face in a mirror.
A person who hears God’s teaching and does nothing is like a man looking in a mirror.
For if anyone hears the word but is not obedient to it, he is like a man who looks at himself in a mirror
Have done, then, with impurity and every other evil which touches the lives of others, and humbly accept the message that God has sown in your hearts, and which can save your souls. Don’t I beg you, only hear the message, but put it into practice; otherwise you are merely deluding yourselves. The man who simply hears and does nothing about it is like a man catching the reflection of his own face in a mirror. He sees himself, it is true, but he goes on with whatever he was doing without the slightest recollection of what sort of person he saw in the mirror. But the man who looks into the perfect mirror of God’s law, the law of liberty (or freedom), and makes a habit of so doing, is not the man who sees and forgets. He puts that law into practice and he wins true happiness.
For if anyone hears the word and does not put it into practice, this same is like unto the man beholding his natural face in a mirror:
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror;
because if anyone is a hearer of the message and not a doer, this one is like someone staring at his own face in a mirror,
For if a person just listens and doesn’t obey, he is like a man looking at his face in a mirror;
Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man viewing his natural face in a mirror.
For if someone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a person who looks at · his natural face · in a mirror;
If someone listens to God’s word but doesn’t do what it says, he is like a person who looks at his face in a mirror,
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his own face in a mirror.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror;
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror;
For anyone who listens to the word and fails to do it is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror.
Those who hear God’s teaching and do nothing are like people who look at themselves in a mirror.
For if someone merely listens to the message and does not live it out, he is like someone who gazes at his own face in a mirror.
Suppose someone listens to the word but doesn’t do what it says. Then they are like a person who looks at their face in a mirror.
Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror
Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;
Anyone who hears the Word of God and does not obey is like a man looking at his face in a mirror.
For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror.
For if anyone hears the word and does it not, he is like a man that looks at his bodily face in a mirror.
For if any are hearers of the word and not doers, they are like those who look at themselves in a mirror;
For if any are hearers of the word and not doers, they are like those who look at themselves in a mirror;
For if any are hearers of the word and not doers, they are like those who look at themselves in a mirror;
For if any are hearers of the word and not doers, they are like those who look at themselves in a mirror;
Someone who hears the word but doesn’t do it, you see, is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror.
Because if anyone is Shomei HaDavar and not Shomrei HaDavar, this one is like a man looking at his ponum in a mirror,
For if any hear the word, and does not do it, he is like a man who beholds his natural face in a mirror.
For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror;
For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror;
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror—
If some fail to do what God requires, it’s as if they forget the word as soon as they hear it. One minute they look in the mirror, and the next they forget who they are and what they look like.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror;
Anyone who just listens to the word, and does not obey it, is like a man who looks at his face in a looking glass.
For if any man is an hearer of the word, and not a doer, this shall be likened to a man that beholdeth the face of his birth in a mirror [this shall be comparisoned, or likened, to a man beholding the cheer of his birth in a mirror];
because, if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, this one hath been like to a man viewing his natural face in a mirror,
