They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.

“Together they lie down in the dust, And the worms cover them.
They lie down alike in the dust, and the worm spreads a covering over them.
They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.
But they both lie in the dust, and worms cover them.
They lie together in the dust and worms cover them.
They lie down alike in the dust, and the worm covers them both.
But we all end up dead, beneath a blanket of worms.
Together they lie down in the dust, and the worms cover them.
And yet they shall sleep together in the dust, and worms shall cover them.
In the end, both of these people will lie together in the dirt. The worms will cover them both.
But they all die one day and their bodies lie under the ground. Worms cover their bodies, whoever they are.
Both of them lie down together in the dust, and worms cover them both.
They lie down alike in the dust, and the worms cover them.
They lie down alike in the dust, and the worms cover them.

“But who are we to tell God how to run his affairs? He’s dealing with matters that are way over our heads. Some people die in the prime of life, with everything going for them— fat and sassy. Others die bitter and bereft, never getting a taste of happiness. They’re laid out side by side in the cemetery, where the worms can’t tell one from the other.
They will lie down alike in the dust, and worms will cover them.
Together they lie down in the dust, and worms cover them.
Alike they lie down in the dust, and worms cover them both.
Together they lie down in the dust, And maggots cover them.
“Together they lie down in the dust, And worms cover them.
Both are consigned to lie down in the earth and worms soon cover them.
They are buried next to each other, and worms cover them both.

Side by side they lie in the dust of death. The worms in their graves cover all of them.
