“The kings came and fought; then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.

“The kings came and fought; Then the kings of Canaan fought At Taanach by the waters of Megiddo. Spoils of silver they did not obtain.
The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan at Taanach by the waters of Megiddo. Gain of booty they did not obtain.
The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
Kings came and fought. Then the kings of Canaan fought at Taanach by the Waters of Megiddo, but they did not plunder the silver.
Kings came and made war; the kings of Canaan fought at Taanach by Megiddo’s waters, but they captured no spoils of silver.
“Kings came; they fought. Yes, the kings of Kena‘an fought at Ta‘anakh, by the waters of Megiddo; but they took no spoil of silver.
Canaanite kings fought us at Taanach by the stream near Megiddo— but they couldn't rob us of our silver.
Kings came,—they fought; Then fought the kings of Canaan; At Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo; They took no spoil of silver.
The kings came and fought, the kings of Chanaan fought in Thanach by the waters of Mageddo, and yet they took no spoils.
The kings of Canaan came to fight, but they didn’t carry any treasures home. They fought at the city of Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo.
Kings of Canaan came and they fought against us. They attacked us at Taanach, near the stream at Megiddo. But they could not take any valuable silver from us.
Kings came; they waged war. There the kings of Canaan waged war, in Ta’anach, at the waters of Megiddo, but they gained no silver as plunder.
“The kings came, they fought; then fought the kings of Canaan, at Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo; they got no spoils of silver.
“The kings came, they fought; then fought the kings of Canaan, at Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo; they got no spoils of silver.
“The kings came, and they fought. At that time the kings of Canaan fought at Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo. But they took away no ·silver or possessions of Israel [plunder of silver].

The kings of Canaan fought in Taanach By Megiddo’s springs, But did not win the victory.
The kings came, they fought, the kings of Canaan fought. At Taanach they fought, at Megiddo’s brook, but they took no silver, no plunder. The stars in the sky joined the fight, from their courses they fought against Sisera. The torrent Kishon swept them away, the torrent attacked them, the torrent Kishon. Oh, you’ll stomp on the necks of the strong! Then the hoofs of the horses pounded, charging, stampeding stallions. “Curse Meroz,” says God’s angel. “Curse, double curse, its people, Because they didn’t come when God needed them, didn’t rally to God’s side with valiant fighters.” * * *
“Kings came to wage war. The kings of Canaan waged war in Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo; they took no money as profit.
Kings came and fought. Then the kings of Canaan fought. They fought at Taanach by the waters of Megiddo. But they didn’t carry off any rich loot.
The kings came and fought; then they fought, those kings of Canaan, At Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; no spoil of silver did they take.
