‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which He swore unto them, therefore He hath slain them in the wilderness.’
Because Jehovah was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
‘Because the Lord was not able to bring these people into the land which He promised to give them, therefore He slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which He swore to give to them, therefore He has slain them in the wilderness.
Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
‘Since the Lord wasn’t able to bring this people into the land he swore to give them, he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
‘The Lord wasn’t able to bring these people to the land that he solemnly promised to give them. So he slaughtered them in the desert.’
that the reason Adonai slaughtered this people in the desert is that he wasn’t able to bring them into the land which he swore to give them.
Moses replied: With your mighty power you rescued your people from Egypt, so please don't destroy us here in the desert. If you do, the Egyptians will hear about it and tell the people of Canaan. Those Canaanites already know that we are your people, and that we see you face to face. And they have heard how you lead us with a thick cloud during the day and flaming fire at night. But if you kill us, they will claim it was because you weren't powerful enough to lead us into Canaan as you promised.
Because Jehovah was not able to bring this people into the land that he had sworn unto them, he has therefore slain them in the wilderness.
He could not bring the people into the land for which he had sworn, therefore did he kill them in the wilderness.
‘The Lord was not able to bring them into the land he promised them. So he killed them in the desert.’
“The Lord could not bring those people into the land that he had seriously promised to give to them. So he killed all of them in the desert.”
‘Because the Lord was not able to bring these people into the land which he swore to them, he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
‘It is because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land that he swore to give to them that he has killed them in the wilderness.’
‘It is because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land that he swore to give to them that he has killed them in the wilderness.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring them into the land he ·promised [swore to] them. So he ·killed [slaughtered] them in the ·desert [wilderness].’
Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore hath he slain them in the wilderness.
‘The Lord wasn’t able to bring these people into the land he promised them, so he slaughtered them in the desert.’
that you killed your people in the wilderness because you were not able to bring them into the land you promised to give them.
‘Since the Lord wasn’t able to bring this people into the land He swore to give them, He has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring them into the land he promised them. So he killed them in the desert.’
‘The Lord slaughtered this people in the wilderness because he wasn’t able to bring them to the land that he promised them.’
Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore unto them; therefore, he has slain them in the wilderness.
Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
‘Because Yahweh was not able to bring this people into the land which He swore to them, therefore He slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
‘Yahweh was unable to bring this people in the land that he swore by an oath, and he slaughtered them in the desert.’
‘The Lord had to kill them because he wasn’t able to take care of them in the wilderness. He wasn’t strong enough to bring them into the land he swore he would give them.’
But Moses said to God, “The Egyptians are going to hear about this! You delivered this people from Egypt with a great show of strength, and now this? The Egyptians will tell everyone. They’ve already heard that you are God, that you are on the side of this people, that you are present among them, that they see you with their own eyes in your Cloud that hovers over them, in the Pillar of Cloud that leads them by day and the Pillar of Fire at night. If you kill this entire people in one stroke, all the nations that have heard what has been going on will say, ‘Since God couldn’t get these people into the land which he had promised to give them, he slaughtered them out in the wilderness.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which He swore to them, so He slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
Yahweh wasn’t able to bring these people into the land he promised them, so he slaughtered them in the desert.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring this people into the land he swore to give them; that is why he slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
‘Since the Lord could not bring this people into the land which He promised them by oath, He slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
‘Because the Lord could not bring this people into the land which He promised them by oath, therefore He slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring this people into the land that he promised them, so he killed them in the wilderness.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring them into the land he promised them. So he killed them in the desert.’
‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land that he swore to them, he killed them in the wilderness.’
‘The Lord promised to give these people the land of Canaan. But he wasn’t able to bring them into it. So he killed them in the desert.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring these people into the land he promised them on oath, so he slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
“The Lord was not able to bring these people into the land he promised them on oath, so he slaughtered them in the wilderness.”
‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people to the land which He swore to give them, therefore He killed them in the wilderness.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring these people into the land He promised to give them. So He has killed them in the desert.’
‘The Lord was not able to bring them into the land he swore to give them, so he killed them in the wilderness.’
“It is because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land he swore to give them that he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.”
“It is because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land he swore to give them that he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.”
‘It is because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land he swore to give them that he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
‘It is because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land he swore to give them that he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
Because Hashem was not able to bring this people into HaAretz which He promised them by oath, therefore He hath slaughtered (shachat) them in the midbar.
‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to give to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.’
‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to give to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.’
‘Because Adonai was unable to bring this people to the land He had promised them, He has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
“The Eternal One couldn’t finish the job. He couldn’t bring the people into the land He’d promised to them, so He slaughtered them in the desert.”
‘Because Yahweh was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.’
He might not bring this people into the land for which he swore to give to them, therefore he killed them in (the) wilderness; (Because he could not bring these people into the land which he had sworn to give them, and so he killed all of them in this wilderness;)
From Jehovah's want of ability to bring in this people unto the land which He hath sworn to them -- He doth slaughter them in the wilderness.
